Thank you Fiordland Jet. A great way to spend an afternoon with entertaining hosts and jet boating with all the bells and whistles. I would thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic day out. We appreciated the small tour group and the stops for photo opportunities along Milford Road. Our driver Karina was lovely and super knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend

El bus, que no era un "small coach", como se indica en la publicidad, llegó a buscarnos a las 8:30 al Hostal en Te Anau. El conductor, un Kiwi que me costaba entenderle, pero era muy amable y nos iba contando sobre los diferentes lugares que íbamos pasando. El bus tiene varias paradas, con caminatas cortas para ver una casacada, las lagunas espejo y para ver las montañas antes del túnel. Después, subimos al barco, que era el más pequeño de todos los que vi en Milford Sound, lo que lo hacía más rápido y le permitía llegar más cerca de las cascadas y para ver las focas. Al final, se incluye un tour de 1 hora en el observatorio submarino, que realmente vale la pena, porque es como estar buceando a 10 metros de profundidad, pero detrás de una ventana.

Me and my friend had a wonderful day with Southern Discoveries. During the whole trip we felt so close to the untouched and splendid nature. The highlights of the trip were the great services we received and the beautiful people we met. Our humourous and knowledgeable coach driver made the journey really special and full of fun! The Underwater Observatory was also a very special experience for us and it was fun to see the wrong map of New Zealand that Captain Cook drew.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day. It was great to sit back and enjoy the scenery and commentary on the way. The smaller bus was brand new and very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour

If I could give this 6 stars I would! Such a beautiful activity from beginning to end. Megan and Adam were excellent hosts who made the trip so enjoyable. We even had canapés and drinks on the early morning cruise and I got to try driving the boat.

Two outstanding days. Both trips exceeded expectations. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, combined with safe, clean vessels made for a memorable couple of days.

This trip was one of the most amazing day trips I have ever done. The service was impeccable, the food was yum and it was an all round delightlful day out sailing on Faith. We will definitely be back again!!!

Spectacular day. Started well with our guide, Steve who was very knowledgable about the area and places all through the trip. Lots of great background to the trip. Views are unbelievable, stunning day, boat was comfortably Equiped with tea & coffee at any time. Crew went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience too. A must see for the South Island. Would very much recommend Trips and Tramps.

Fabulous 2pm afternoon cruise plus land exploration. Delightful, friendly and knowledgeable crew. Lovely historic boat with old age charm. Tasty afternoon tea and choice of beverage. My wife and I loved the whole experience from start to finish. Very good value. Have fun. David & Dee.

An amazing cruise on a perfect day. Captain and skipper were both wonderful guys informative and helpful also lots of fun. Cruise included a beautiful bush walk through the beech forest to view the hidden lake. On our return the sails were set and afternoon canapes and wine was served to the delight of those on board. Highly recommended. A highlight of our Central Otago, Fiordland, and Catlins trip.

The Faith is a beautiful vintage yacht that Adam and George bought and restored. They keep the tours at a small size so that they can interact with everyone onboard rather than blast information over a loudspeaker. If you ask, Adam might play the bagpipes and George the accordion. We did the morning tea cruise, and I imagine their other tours follow a similar format (all on the same boat). The tour was far less touristed than other trips in the area. It consisted of: 40 minute boat ride 30 minute light hike and tour of the Hidden Lakes (informative, and gorgeous) 30 minute morning tea (catered by a local cafe, with both drinks and food) 40 minute trip back Thanks for an amazing trip run and owned by locals!

A lovely, unique experience - beautiful locations, the crew were professional & friendly, afternoon tea was great, and the boat has a very interesting history (I won’t spoil it)! It was so nice to hoist the sails and stop the engine for bit, taking in the beauty and peace of the surrounds on the way back. Nice to know we’re supporting a local company run by lovely people too. Would very happily go again!

This cruise was a joy from start to finish! A wonderful, relaxing day, from when we were warmly welcomed aboard, till when we departed after a day full of beautiful views, delectable canapés, refreshing beverages & friendly chats with the crew. Super friendly guide and easy to talk to. Fun and full of informations trip from Te Anu to Milford. Small group which allowed us to stop at lookouts , short walking tracks and beautiful locations on our way to Milford. During the cruise we saw dolphins and sea lions, rainbows and waterfalls. Graceful nautical adventure. Beautiful, well appointed vintage motor yacht with a well presented, knowledgeable and friendly crew. We felt that we had chartered the vessel as the service was so personal. Loved it!

it was really wonderful time to cruise in lake Te Anau. George and Max were really gentle warm kind friendly and etc, they always treated us and explained lots about the lake. their The Faith was beautiful sailing ship which took us to south fiord. then we could see many beautiful scenery. and i shouldn't forget to tell about taking beautiful bluch with morning tea. that cruising is one of my unforgettable moment for good. thanks George and Max.
