I've been on the cruise many times. Each trip I learn something new from the commentary so well done to the crew for the variety and range of information available! This is an awesome experience for those who want a peaceful and interesting way to learn about and to see the town. Take a jumper or coat though as it's colder than you think out on the water and views are best seen from the outside!

Relaxing cruise around the lake with Max the captain giving running commentary and entertaining with jokes included. Self serve, honesty bar was nice to see the trust in the customers and overall good value for money.

Had a good time around lake with Million Dollar Cruise. Three hours trip, either on the deck or inside. Good views and guides. Worth of money. Recommend.

Lovely cruise, interesting commentary and great photo opportunities. The boat was very comfortable with plenty of options inside and outside. Very affordable and a highlight of our stay. Our little one had so much fun too.

We had a great time on the boat, they have a bar and snacks. The guide had lots of knowledge of the area, this would be great for new people to the area!

Great commentary from the skipper and lovely view! Bring your warmest jacket, gloves and hat and then sit at the top of the boat.

Having a hot soak , sauna and steam under a chilly cold weather is the best treatment you could ever get

Love Love Love the whole experience Highly recommend this. 2 hrs to use the hotel facilities -very good value for money. Spa n pool so clean, the lovely friendly staff gave us a free locker as well. Will def do this again

I really enjoyed this scenic cruise. The captain was great. Love the feeding of the fish on the wharf at the start. This was nice and relaxing and a great way to see Queenstown from the lake. Commentary of the history of the lake and Queenstown was really interesting.

Really enjoyed the Million Dollar Lake cruise. Was a great way to see the sights of Lake Wakatipu, with funny & informative commentary from the skipper and also enjoy a refreshment while taking it all in.

Have been on the million dollar cruise several times over the years, such a good cruise along lake Waikato. There’s nothing like relaxing on a boat and viewing the surroundings. One of the main highlights for me was being able to have a photo taken in front of the Remarkables which gives a fabulous back drop to any photo! Very knowledgeable information from Wayne about the environment and surroundings and who clearly loves his work and Queenstown:)

Daniel was our driver and he informative and friendly. The jet boat ride was fantastic, you certainly got very wet but the whole experience and scenery was amazing. Highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day and small crowd on our cruise .The captain was most obliging giving us the run of the ship along with an informative speil. Would def reccommend.

This is a must do! 10/10! The boat has several viewing areas, inside and out. Its extremely comfortable! The views are outstanding! Captain Wayne is hilarious, he will have you laughing the whole way! Not only is he an excellent captain, he's a great photographer! I was a bit nervous as it was windy, but as soon as we turned to the other part of the lake, it was super calm! Clear blue waters, gorgeous scenery, good laughs, and a bar! What more could you ask for?!? Thanks for a great afternoon!

Fantastic commentary by the captain, beautiful scenery and comfortable vessel. Gorgeous way to see the Mountains and Queenstown/Frankton and Kelvin Heights. 10/10 would do again.

Booked this cruise for me and my gf for valentine's day got a great deal , absolutely amazing to be greeted by the captain Max who was full of knowledge about the landscape,lake and the history from past till now about the area. It was a great trip and it really made me feel free from everyday life (farmer) thanks I will definitely be coming back

This was the best experience we had in Queenstown. The Captain Wayne is a laugh a minute the whole Cruise and has a laugh you will never forget. Beautiful scenery, a relaxed atmosphere and a serve yourself bar, what more could you want!! Go up onto the top deck for 360% views and the toilet holds a suprise that I will let you experience yourself. I would recommend this cruise wholeheartedly to anyone!!

Myself and three daughters (14,11and 9) all agree this was our favourite jet boat ride in Queenstown. The music was awesome, the views down the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu were stunning and I personally loved looking at the million dollar houses on the side of the lake as we zoomed by. And then the ride was made even more stunning when we left the lake, zoomed under the bridge and onto the Kawarau river. Lots of 360’s made for lots of squeal of delight from us all. Thanks Thunder Jet - an awesome school holiday treat!

Great experience

Bikes were delivered to our hotel and instructions given. We were on our way within 5 minutes and were very impressed with how they performed. Did 35km around the lake on the first day which was huge considering we rarely ride. Didn’t even use half of the battery charge.

Great fun.. 360* spins and some spectacular views. Try finding a spot in the back corner of you are up for some wet splashes ?

One of the best jet boat in Queenstown! I took the 1-hour tour with Kjet, which covers the lake, main river, and small river. The driver is very kind and knowledgeable, answered many questions we asked. He also took us to a hidden water bush area with crystal clear water. We had about 10 spins and super close to the water bank. Everyone enjoyed it and I highly recommended to everyone!

Awesome experience

We were lucky to have a sunny day and it was worth every minute. Epic mountain views, turquoise waters and of course, the good old adrenaline rush!

We went at a pretty quiet time so got a small boat and had a great time. Lots of lovely scenery and fun spins, remember to wear sunglasses though because it was pretty bright!
