Our first trip got cancelled due to low lying cloud, so flew the following and had an absolute bluebird! Well run company, organized, would have been nice to fly a little further or over the glacier before or after the hike just to really take in how big it truly is! Tom our glacier leader was incredible, very enthusiastic

Definately one of the best tours we have ever done while travelling. Staff are top notch, big thanks to our guide Ben who kept up the enthusiasm all afternoon and took us to some cool places off the beaten track (anyone wanna squeeze through a cravesse?).

Weather is perfect. If you went on summer, do not wear too much, a T shirt is fine. They will provide you jacket and pants. It’s gonna be so hot when you start walking!!

The heli hike was one of the most memorable things we have done in NZ. All the staff were super friendly and our guide Jon was really nice and informative. There was hardly any waiting around so you do get a lot of time on the ice. The price is very expensive but for an experience that you will probably only do once, it is fairly reasonable.

This has to be the highlight of the past 15 months I’ve spent in this country. I couldn’t stop smiling! The staff are very professional and put your comfort above everything else. If they need to get another helicopter, they’ll do it, no question. It was my first time in a helicopter and first time over the twin glaciers. I had the best time! Thanks again!

Great activity for both beginners and experienced riders. If you know what to do you can canter while beginners are safe behind with an instructor. Amazing feeling to be back at the saddle. Stunning views and opportunity for perfect photos with a glacier at the background. Can highly recommend it ;)

This was our first time in a helicopter so it was fun but scary! The scenery above the mountain range was incredible and there was about six inches of fresh snow on the glacier when we landed. The time slot we had booked for was not flying because of the weather but the tour company simply moved us to a later slot on the afternoon and thankfully the weather had cleared by then! This is a great tour for people who want the glacier experience without spending hours tramping over the ice.

Staff very friendly, short ride from office to the heli pad, beautiful flight up to the glacier and more time on the glacier than anticipated. No other heli near us so it felt like un-touched and pristine landscape. Absolutely one of the best experiences of a life time! A must do for any travelers or Kiwis!

An unreal experience that allowed us to see the glacier from a different perspective! Our second time doing this and it was just as incredible as the first time round! We recommend this to all our friends that travel to New Zealand. As the pilots say, if you can fly - fly, because you could travel to the West Coast 100 times and never get the chance due to weather. Make the most of the opportunity if it’s there!
