The gourmet avocado tour was excellent - no other words for it. Tim was a fantastic host & tour guide - imparting so much knowledge about the avocado growing process. And the tasting was awesome - go hungry as there is so much to taste. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone with any interest in avocados.

both my 8yo and 2yo had a blast in water. Nice open water in the Wairoa river with fun slide, dive board, floats and kayak etc. For younger ones, there is a play ground, warm water pool to enjoy. Burger and beverage sold onsite. Great water park.

Great fun in a beautiful setting on the river- lots to do for all ages. The activities kept all our multigenerational family happy- especially the teenagers . What a brilliant faculty on the edge of Tauranga.

Our time in Waimarino was totally fun and memorable. The place is safe for water activities for all ages. Well equipped with PFD’s( Personal Floatation Devices). Staffs are helpful. Our daughter asked for another visits.😊 We’re booking our 3rd one already. Indeed, we had an epic experience!

The stand out were the staff, they were friendly, encouraging and took safety very seriously which was impressive. The activities are great for all levels of ability and if you have some courage stored up for a sunny day then this is the place for you :-) We were between 35-40yrs old and had a blast trying the BLOB and hydro slide. Great day out!

Weather was amazing, it was so hot. Our kids really enjoyed it, we particularly enjoyed the paddleboarding and kayaking. The water was cold but perfect for this weather. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

Our extended family of 11, from 2yrs - 52yrs, were very impressed with this established & well maintained park! It's clean & tidy & the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable & experienced. There's much more to this place then just water activities. We spent the day on the water, as well as, rock climbing, abseiling, volleyball, & trampolining. There's something for everyone. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Love this place as there is something for everyone. We have taken our whole famy a few times, grandparents inuded. We took our 3 year old and she loves to be paddled around in a canoe and there's a cool little slightly warm pool for her and kids of all ages love the slip n slide. There's every thing from canoes, paddle boards, diving boards, swing, blob, trampoline on and off the water, rock climbing wall, paddle boats slip in slide warm pool and plenty of picnic tables and trees to picnic under. 5 stars well worth it. You can have as much fun as you like.

Tim Taylor took us to the magical kingdom of glow worms and shared with us his knowledge of the Mclaren Falls Park. We even saw some deer. The group was small and the evening was breathtakingly beautiful. Tim made some nice photos which he shared with us a few days later in high resolution. He is such a great guy full of adventure himself and is ready to share his knowledge of kayaking. Highly recommended to anyone in love with nature and adventure.

Lovely and peaceful on a Monday morning. Clean and comfortable. No spa jets just soft warm mineral water. Ahhh

We thoroughly enjoyed the Railcruising adventure through the Dansey conservation area. Despite a little light rain the journey was fascinating and made all the more special by the onboard commentary and steamy jungle atmosphere. The experience could be improved by offering merchandise and a video history of the line prior to the cessation of service by NZ Railways

This tour was really perfect from start to finish. Me and my daughter enjoyed everything and our awkward rowing was no problem thanks to friendly guides. They did their best to allow tourists to enjoy the Glow worm and the stars. I will actively recommend this tour to my friends.

Couldn’t have been a better experience, our guide Copey was awesome. We were so lucky we had such a clear night, saw shooting stars whilst floating back from the glow worm cave. Peaceful and tranquil setting with spectacular views. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Friendly staff ? I enjoyed a lot

The team at Skydive Tauranga were incredible from start to finish! Kitsch was my tandem jumper and Gui was my extra photographer/videographer jumper. As this was my first jump, I was understandably nervous, but the guys played a big part is keeping me cool. They were friendly, funny, professional and yet also laid back. Despite them having done tens of thousands of jumps, I feel like they were still invested in my excitement and anticipation of it being my first jump. I must also mention that in the past, I have been scared of flying. I can honestly say I had zero fear going up in the plane. It's a bit gnarly when the door is opened and you get into position to jump, but I felt safe and cared about the entire time. Not bad for people you've just met. A true testament to the guys. After the jump, my entire video/photo package was edited beautifully and sent to me within about half an hour. It was an incredibly impressive turn around period. For any new jumpers, I HIGHLY recommend paying the extra money and getting the most complete "Inside Out" package. You will not regret it. You will never get your first jump back, so do it. Not to mention the views are breathtakingly beautiful. The high quality of the pictures and video was impressive also; I might even have to get one of my favourite shots blown up onto a canvas or something. Gui and Kitsch, my Cessna pilot, and other team members who heled me upon arrival, THANK YOU SO MUCH for being part of one of the most exciting things I've ever done. Aside from the jump itself, one thing I will always remember about my jump was the smiles on Gui and Kitsch's faces. You guys do this all the time, but for myself and so many others, it was just the first time, and so thank you for not being nonchalant and for being buzzed and excited with me. I would go back to Skydive Tauranga EVERY SINGLE WEEK if I could. Fantastic team, fantastic experience. Annie G July 2022

Great trip - excellent way to see Tauranga harbour. Pilot and deckhand were pleasant.

The staff were amazing, and we had so much fun during the cruise. We captured lots of beautiful photos with Mt Maunganui as the perfect backdrop.

The service and commentary was great. I loved listening to NZ history. The boat ride is a little long, a lot of waiting but I can imagine it being difficult having to find wildlife. We saw dolphins and a seal which was beautiful. Thank goodness we took antinausea tabs before the trip because it worked like wonders, highly recommend you doing that too because a few were feeling sea sick. Overall it was a great, thanks for the awesome experience.

Great trip, great staff friendly, knowledgeable. We saw a pod of 80 to 100 dolphins which was fabulous. It was an older bigger boat but made very enjoyable by the staff.
