Amazing flight a must do for aviation fans. I did this this for my 13th birthday the instructor was really friendly and cool, probably the best present ever!

Went as a group of adults and had an awesome time. If you're fit i think its a bit easier and quicker to pull yourself around the obstacles and back out of the water but there are still lots of handles to help out. It would be great to do an adult only session.

The kids loved it. Next time I’d bring their wetsuits as it’s pretty cold. You do need to be able swim and it does require some upper body strength to pull yourself out of the water. The wobbly floating round obstacle was really fun! We could do the air pillow due to the wind which is fair enough. The staff were great and I felt in safe hands.

My 2 boys aged 13 & 15 had lots of fun playing on the inflatable water playground. Staff were friendly & engaging. I bought a blanket & picnic, and watched to boys from the river bank. Great day out for us all. Highly recommend.

I've never been to an alpaca farm, it was great experience and would definitely visit again. The farm owner, Kit, showed us around the farm as a farm tour guide. Kit was very friendly and pleasant to speak to. It was very educative to learn about alpacas and the background of the farm. Seeing and interacting with award-winning alpacas felt like a special experience, and surprisingly we weren't spitted by them at all! (yes, I was a bit scared in case that happened) After the tour we were allowed to stay in the farm with alpacas and feed them, baby alpacas were so cute and we were able to pet them a lot. We knocked on the door before leaving the farm, sorry we missed saying goodbye to you Kit, but we will definitely come back again. Thank you for the amazing experience! :)

This was such a lovely morning activity. Kit is very passionate and knowledgeable about his animals and easy to listen to. Our toddler absolutely loved her time here and Kit was very accommodating to her. Thank you!

A visit at Silverstream Alpacas was an absolute delight! Spending time with those adorable animals were incredibly enjoyable, and the experience was both informative and relaxing. Highly recommend visiting for a charming and memorable time!

What a wonderful experience! I was a bit nervous that our 18 month old would be afraid because she hasn’t been around alot of larger animals but the gentle alpacas at Silverstream made her feel quite at ease and she really enjoyed patting and feeding them. Our guide was excellent and we learned so much about Alpacas and their wool. Would 100% recommend. Definitely hope to go back again!

We enjoyed the farm tour guided by Kit.. there are lots of lovely alpacas in his farm that you closely touch and feed. Kit also shared the history of his farm and the habits of alpaca. Amazing experience!

This was a really fun experience, highly recommend! The guides were so lovely and informative and you can see they really love and care for the horses! The trek is the perfect amount of time and the sights along the way are just absolutely tranquil, with the sounds of the birds and the waimak river - the water crossing was a highlight for sure! And I loved learning about each horses individual personality and backstory! Great for all levels and ages our group that we were booked with had children in it as well and they did so well on the horses and the horses did well too! Also there was a very cute dog and cat that were loving pats as well! I Recommend this hidden gem experience!

Despite the rain it was a fantastic and fun activity to do. My kids loved it and wanted to stay longer!

Took my kids, 7 and 10. They had a blast and the staff were patient and helpful. Worth the money, I highly recommend.

Adrenalin Forest beat my body aware 11 year old climbing freak - we look forward to coming back in a few years to complete the last two courses! The safety standards were the very best we have seen with an innovative connection technology that ensures that you are always connected to the safety cable, while giving you the flexibility to manoeuvre by clipping and unclipping rather than dragging lops round the course. One of the huge advantages for us was that because my son is over 1.45m tall he was able to go on the course on his own, with me spotting/supervising from the ground.

I would definitely recommend the experiences here!!! I had a horse trekking here with my bf Today and ut was awesome❤️The staff here were super patient and friendly. They provided detailed introduction and guidance during our experience. They have quite a lot of horses and doggie as well as a cat. All of which were super nice and cute. I personally it is safe for children to have some interactions with them under the guidance of the staff aside. They also provide experience for children with additional needs as a kind of therapy. I think that super cool!!! WRRC is definitely a loving place to be. Will definitely come back for maybe a riding course.😊 We had a therapeutic time here.❤️🌸

Very professional from the start to the end . Safety demo and lesson before hand very adequate . Amazingly informative host who just loves her horses and her job . Horses really well cared for and great riding gear . Would 100 % recommend this trek and I’ve tried many horse trekking centres .

The trail ride was peaceful, safe and on lovely horses that were well trained. The leader, Paige, was knowledgeable and gave us some local and geological information, although we couldn't hear much at the back! We felt it was a bit expensive for what we got, but for beginner riders it was probably a good taste. I had hoped we would be trekking through mountain terrain and seeing some views of Christchurch, but the horse farm was situated in a flat area. She did take us for a small trek through the river which was a highlight. Overall, it was a good experience! Thanks Paige!

We went on the hour trek It was a beautiful experience the staff are awesome. Scenic peaceful ride. Our guide was informative taught us some interesting facts about horses. We loved it and would definitely recommend

It was my beginner riding a horse and I felt very happy on it. If I have the opportunity to ride again I would like to and I am happy to recommend people whose plan to try to ride a horse just come over to this place you will be happy and have fun.

The staff made our family of five beginner riders feel safe and relaxed during our ride, right from the moment we stepped onto the property. They were knowledgeable and chatty, and gave us lots of information as we rode. The stars of the show were the horses. They were beautiful and gentle, and put everyone in the family at ease. Good experience in Christchurch

Took my daughter on a 1 hour Trek after not being on a horse for about 20 years and my daughter about a year. They were absolutely amazing in the sense they eased us back into it, regularly checked how we were going and gave us the chance to stretch the horses legs with a trot and canter! The horses were great, you can see a lot of love goes into caring for the animals and the place they live. The trek scenery was very private and relaxing, it was the first time I have been on a horse in the water, great experience! Thanks guys, will definitely be returning when we move to Christchurch.

My daughter (8) was given this horse trek as a xmas present so my husband went with her. The guide, Zoe, was very informative of not only the horses but the surrounding environment too and provided them with a running commentary for the entire trek. Super friendly guides and relaxed easy to ride horses made for a wonderous trek. Cant say enough great things about whole experience. Taylor came away with a lot to talk about and a smile on her face, even thouhh she toppled off at one point (not holding on tight enough) best present ever she says!! Thanks very much!!?

My guide Zsofie was super professional and friendly! I was a total beginner so I had to bug her from the very beginning and she was so patient with me, explained all the rules in a very easy way for me to understand. My horse was Nemo and he was such a good boy. The weather was amazing too and the river was beautiful, I am actually really interested in horseback riding now after this, definitely would recommend to anyone visiting or already in Christchurch to experience this with these guys and I will defo. come back!

We booked for 4 of us. When we arrived we had 4 lovely, well looked after horses waiting for us. Each of our horses was characterful, easy to ride and clearly living a great life with these guys. The trek was challenging enough for me as a beginner. The horses are very easy to trust and very forgiving of newbies. We went for the 2hr and it was the perfect length. The instructions were clear and simple. Highly, highly recommended.
