We had a fun time watching the kiwi bird running around in the display room and attacking the kiwi keeper while feeding. Many native birds in the park. Staffs are kind and helpful. However the park is rather small.

i loved it when it was feeding times for the kiwis. theres a 20ish year old one and it nibbles at the keeper that was funny. and a wood pigeon that was friendly and it came up close to say hello.

Came specially for the kiwi and it's all worth it. #nzmustdo

Great way to learn about, not only Kiwi, but other NZ wildlife... We stayed for the talk in the kiwi night house. The lady was a wealth of knowledge!! Only thing I would say could be improved on was, needed more air ventilation/cooling in the viewing corridor where you see the Kiwi’s... When a lot of people are in there listening to the talk, it can get a bit stifling... My children had to go and sit outside while the lady was talking because of this... But other than that, it was great!! Thank you!!

We were able to see the Kiwis up close and they're night enclosure as they fed them. A really awesome thing to experience . The bird sanctuary is clean and blush with beautiful vegetation to house these incredible animals.

Awesome experience with a lovely guide. Very professional. He told us about the history of the place too. We were learling while having fun at the ziplines. No way to beat that haha. He also gave us a lot of useful tips for our trip. Very sweet and helpful. The experience itself is amazing. The views stuning. Would repeat!

There were 5 of us together, 3 adults and 2 8 year olds. We absolutely loved it! My 8 year old was scared at first and hesitant to go on however Rob our instructor is very knowledgeable and experienced and made him feel safe. Amazing experience, we’re ready to book again. Thanks Rob!

It was just me, my two girls (9 and 8) and the owner, Rob. It was amazing fun and Rob has done such an amazing job designing this attraction (and digging out all the pathways by hand!!!). Highly recommend this activity and would definitely do it again. Thanks Rob!

I grew up in otorohanga and just come home for a hoilday from melbz had an eye for adventure so ziplining was on the agender Awesome way to see our beauitful country & enjoy catching up with whanau at the same time our two tour guides were so neat some good stories

We spent 3 weeks in North and South island and this was the best activity we did. A small group of just 2 of us got the chance to squeeze through tiny gaps and duck underwater to get through certain places all whilst being in an environment covered in glow worms. It was an excellent mix of scenic and scary. We had Chan and Luke guiding us and they even let us do extra challenges again because we enjoyed them so much. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Every tourist and new zealander visiting Waitomo should definitely try this. Very exciting cave, loved the absailing and rock climbing. The guides Chao and Kenny were absolutely outstanding and made the attraction so much better. Will definitelytry to do it again with other friends.

An excellent adventure from start to finish. Nick made us very welcome at check-in and ramped up our excitement. Then we set off with the friendly Joel who was super safety conscious but still maintained the fun and excitement. We abseiled down waterfalls, crawled through gaps we thought we'd never get through, rocked climbed and saw wonderous natural formations, and of course glowworms. Joel was very knowledgeable - there wasn't a question he couldn't answer and gave us so much interesting information on everything! Would definitely recommend, and would love to return another day for more adventures.

This was an awesome tour! Our tour guide Damien was filled with amazing stories and facts about New Zealand, he was the best! It was great to be able to have both tours in one trip, since they aren't far from each other. Hobbiton was so much fun, our tour guide had lots of fun facts and trivia about the movie set. It was great having the drink and buffet lunch (which was delicious) included! Waitomo caves was fascinating to see and is something I will never forget. It's sad that you can't take pictures in the caves though. I would definitely recommend this tour, it was my favorite from my trip!

It’s a very wonderful trip. The driver Aldo tour guide is amazing to introduce all the way with her profession and humorous & friendly personality. She drove us safely return. The trip is well organized and considerate. Not too rush and let us have eniugh time to make photos. Bus is comfortable as well. Highly reckon ??

The Gray Line Tour was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was extremely helpful meeting us at the City Station and getting us on the right bus for the tour . The bus driver Brian was great and told us lots about NZ history in an entertaining manner! He was kind and helpful with lots of good tour tips! Going to Hobbiton was wonderful and a tour I wouldn’t miss! The lunch was great with lots of good choices! Waitomo Caves was another must do tour! The tour was extremely organized . The bus was very comfortable and enroute to the tour sites you see the wonderful NZ country side! Thank you Brian and Grey Line Tours!

The Hobbiton was amazing . I went there when it raining but the staff are very nice provide the umbrella . Ginger beer is tasty and lunch buffet was awesome. Waitomo cave is good but cannot take photo inside.

Great start to our NZ trip! We enjoyed our bus trip and the amazing views. Bus seats were comfortable. Hobbiton tour was superb, would have been better if the tour was longer. Try getting the one with the lunch buffet, everything on their buffet spread was really good! Would have eaten more if I can but 1 serving of everything was quite filling. The Waitomo caves are a bit of a let down maybe because the Hobbiton tour was perfect. On our way back, our guide even suggested to have some ice cream and buy some souvenirs. We really enjoyed the witty comments of our tour guide/driver, highly recommended!

Kane, our driver/tour guide for the day was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Cookies and water given to us before boarding the bus was good service. I enjoyed it alot and hope will do it again one day.

Picked up at sky tower by Damien our driver, bus is super comfortable and got water and a cookie for the trip. Damien was fantastic, spoke for ages about the history of New Zealand and really held my attention even at 7am, very interesting stories and information he gave us which was better than the usual of a tour guide. Hobbit set was so beautiful, I've never seen LOTR but could still appreciate it. Our guide here was Izzy, she was lovely, so friendly and again so knowledgeable about the whole set and all the movies. The lunch here was brilliant, such a range of food and well organised. Also the free cider was so tasty, could have had more than one! On to the Waitomo Caves where we seen the glow worms, this tour was so cool. Somethinh very different, the limestone caves were amazing and the boat tour through the glow worms cave was a surreal experience. All staff here were super friendly. Overall such an amazing day out, worth every penny!

I had an absolutely amazing time from the bus trip, Waitomo caves and Rotorua. It was an educational and magical day besides the unpredictable weather of NZ. Rachael our bus driver, was entertaining and great. All the tour guides were great and obviously very passionate about their work. Will definitely do this tour again. Thank you.

Hobbiton was so magical, and the lunch Buffett was the cherry on top! We loved the bus driver, she was very fun & informative. We learned a lot at the caves and had a good time. You walk through them and end on a ~5 minute boat ride in the dark to see the glow worms. I recommend this tour!

Hobbiton is a magical awesome place, wish we could stay longer there. The lunch was great, the complimentary beer as well (we tried ale and stout, both excellent). They keep the place looking super authentic. Our guide on the bus drive to there gave us various curious details about NZ and the local nature, people, industry, etc., it was really useful. Waitomo cave then was also magnificent magical place, better they dont allow photos inside, as it would ruin the emotion and experience. Lovely place, would recommend it, as well as the whole tour in general!
