The gourmet avocado tour was excellent - no other words for it. Tim was a fantastic host & tour guide - imparting so much knowledge about the avocado growing process. And the tasting was awesome - go hungry as there is so much to taste. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone with any interest in avocados.

Our extended family of 11, from 2yrs - 52yrs, were very impressed with this established & well maintained park! It's clean & tidy & the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable & experienced. There's much more to this place then just water activities. We spent the day on the water, as well as, rock climbing, abseiling, volleyball, & trampolining. There's something for everyone. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Great fun in a beautiful setting on the river- lots to do for all ages. The activities kept all our multigenerational family happy- especially the teenagers . What a brilliant faculty on the edge of Tauranga.

Weather was amazing, it was so hot. Our kids really enjoyed it, we particularly enjoyed the paddleboarding and kayaking. The water was cold but perfect for this weather. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

The stand out were the staff, they were friendly, encouraging and took safety very seriously which was impressive. The activities are great for all levels of ability and if you have some courage stored up for a sunny day then this is the place for you :-) We were between 35-40yrs old and had a blast trying the BLOB and hydro slide. Great day out!

Our time in Waimarino was totally fun and memorable. The place is safe for water activities for all ages. Well equipped with PFD’s( Personal Floatation Devices). Staffs are helpful. Our daughter asked for another visits.😊 We’re booking our 3rd one already. Indeed, we had an epic experience!

both my 8yo and 2yo had a blast in water. Nice open water in the Wairoa river with fun slide, dive board, floats and kayak etc. For younger ones, there is a play ground, warm water pool to enjoy. Burger and beverage sold onsite. Great water park.

Love this place as there is something for everyone. We have taken our whole famy a few times, grandparents inuded. We took our 3 year old and she loves to be paddled around in a canoe and there's a cool little slightly warm pool for her and kids of all ages love the slip n slide. There's every thing from canoes, paddle boards, diving boards, swing, blob, trampoline on and off the water, rock climbing wall, paddle boats slip in slide warm pool and plenty of picnic tables and trees to picnic under. 5 stars well worth it. You can have as much fun as you like.

Spent a scenic hour cruising round the island and harbour.

A lovely way to spend the afternoon! Out to Matakana Island, and a stop-off for a swim and play on the beach. Kewpie picked us up on the next round so we could complete the harbour cruise and get a different perspective on Pilot Bay. Thank you Kewpie Cruises :)

We did the 11.00 cruise, got off at Matakana Island and were picked up by the 12.00 cruise. Kewpie was very punctual and we had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone . We are a pair of grandparents and had two grandkids 7 and 10 with us so they went free.

Excellent short cruise right at the base of the Mt Maunganui. There were not a lot of people with us, but they are missing the experience for sure! Very informative. Highly recommended

My family and I really enjoyed the Kewpie cruise! Great Views of the Mount and Harbour!

The crew of Kewpie couldn't be nicer. They are genuine good people and nothing was too much trouble. From helping us haul our buggy on board, to knowledgeably pointing out places of interest in the harbour. We got off at Matakana Island for an hour which was tranquil and relaxing (if I was doing it again I would take some insect repellent). We were a young family with a 3 and 6 month old. A great trip to do for all the family.

Very friendly staff. Good commentary over the PA, and the stopover on Matakana Island is a must
