Amazing, didn't realize they we're man made to start with, but well worth experience
We had an amazing experience. Highly recommended
From the 5 star world class setup, the soothing ambience of an early morning soak was the highlight of our visit to Taupo. The Geothermal walk topped off the experience and is highly recommended. We are so glad we made the time to enjoy this exceptional experience.
The wonderful colours of the water was awe inspiring. Easy walk.
A wonderful relaxing day out soaking in these mineral rich pools. There pools are beautiful. Constantly being warmed by the piping hot spring water. The intense blue of the pools and the steam make this experience magical.
It was absolutely pelting down so we decided on a morning g here we were not disappointed it was beautiful and almost had the place to ourselves. Great value and such a lovely setting. I have honestly never been to a place like it.
Fabulous, relaxing morning. The thermal pools were relatively quiet and we spent a luxurious 2 hours chilling out. Well worth the money and time. Felt the effect for the rest of the day and slept well that night.
Such a beautiful place! Very friendly and accommodating staff, as well as other patrons.
Great place to spend a relaxing afternoon, the three mineral pools were all different temperatures & felt wonderful. My husband was having a few back pains issues before this experience & has not complained since. We loved it
So worth a trip here. Such a relaxing environment to melt away any stress or worries.
I only can said it is the best and valuable thermal hot pool. Must be on your travel list.
Really good place ! There was no too many people that day. So I was able to enjoy time quietly :) FYI, Pretty small pool
One of our favourite place to go, highly recommended
Excellent value for money, staff were lovely. 4 pools of different temperatures to choose from, so relaxing you can spend all day there, it’s wonderful Also on the plus side no children under 14 Highly recommend this place AAA
It’s clean, quite, and claim bathing environment for adults that is over 14 years old. The adults definitely could find some peaceful and relaxing here! For the kids, they could explore the trail and Maori village nearby. The whole trail is very easy for all age groups. The Maori village is very quiet and plenty to see and explore. My kids loved it and took three rounds before they got tired! The only cons is that the water is different from the Polynesian Spa. Based on the feedback from my group, they didn’t got the feeling of smooth touching on their skin after bathing, the water is a bit more like regular house bath water. However We could see the water is directly from the geyser, maybe just different minerals.
We enjoyed seeing the bubbling Geyser and silica layers. Make sure to take the public road up the valley to the lookout point and see and learn about the Thermal power plant.
We really enjoyed our time here after a morning walking up and down hills, it was so good to soak those achey muscles in these beautiful hot pools of different temperatures in beautiful scenic surrounds . So fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day as well! No hires because of Covid rules, take your own towel and shower when you get home ( apparently this will help you get the most of your mineral dip as the body can absorb them better ). Great value for money, would highly recommend. Cafe was open when we were leaving, we didn’t try it but would have if we had time.
This is best pools in Taupo beautiful setting and very relaxing and peaceful. None of the others compare. First on our list in Taupo
People were kind Not crowded when we went , go early for less people. Water feels amazing! Of course unfiltered mineral water pools will have a little algae and calcium build up. Most springs will have this, it is not a chlorinated pool!
We walked around the terraces first - its probably only a ten minute walk but it was worth it and had a dip in the pools after. It was quite, and a sunny day it was beautiful. We had such a good time.
We had a relaxing stay, good value for discounted entry. Showers are not recommended, lockers cost extra but actually you don’t need them. Additionally you can hire everything you need.
Despite the rain we had a lovely visit. Water temperatures were great ranging quite a bit from level to level and in different areas of the individual pools. We’ve been hot springs enthusiasts for over 40 years and have never come across a similar location.
So worth a visit. Loved the differing temperatures.beautiful scenery and so relaxing
Amazing experience, must visit in Taupo
Iyou have to visit early morning:) much better than afternoon Not good during the 11-14:00 It's pretty crowded at that time. It's absolutely a good place for chilling
This is one of the best hot pools we have been so far, the water is so clear and the environment is so relaxing. We enjoyed very much.
These thermal pools are absolutely wonderful. A perfect way to start the day, relaxing and invigorating. Beautiful surrounds, tranquil and peaceful. First thing in the morning we had the pool to ourselves. The staff were great. Nothing but positives here.
Fantastic, we will be back
We loved it... Water temps vary as to what pool you choose.. The kowhai was flowering.. Tuis around us.. Then the night sky... Magical.. Thanks for a great time
