What a beautiful place! Love the hot pool! Relaxed for hours. Staff friendly and as a first timer, I want to pack these baths up and take them home!
Such a beautiful place! Very friendly and accommodating staff, as well as other patrons.
Glad we bought the special deal. Well worth a visit to the pools . Nice friendly staff ..
From the 5 star world class setup, the soothing ambience of an early morning soak was the highlight of our visit to Taupo. The Geothermal walk topped off the experience and is highly recommended. We are so glad we made the time to enjoy this exceptional experience.
Fabulous, relaxing morning. The thermal pools were relatively quiet and we spent a luxurious 2 hours chilling out. Well worth the money and time. Felt the effect for the rest of the day and slept well that night.
This is one of the best hot pools we have been so far, the water is so clear and the environment is so relaxing. We enjoyed very much.
Great experience! Some space would be good for family with kids for rainy days . As some family with kids shares the experience. Good garden outside , but can’t do much if it’s raining. Some activities such as painting , blocks , etc and little space would be good 😊
This is best pools in Taupo beautiful setting and very relaxing and peaceful. None of the others compare. First on our list in Taupo
Total bliss! I honestly haven’t been that relaxed in a very long time. Highly recommended!
This is my favorite hot pool, beautiful surrounding, different pool temperature suits for everyone. Highly recommended.
It was absolutely pelting down so we decided on a morning g here we were not disappointed it was beautiful and almost had the place to ourselves. Great value and such a lovely setting. I have honestly never been to a place like it.
These thermal pools are absolutely wonderful. A perfect way to start the day, relaxing and invigorating. Beautiful surrounds, tranquil and peaceful. First thing in the morning we had the pool to ourselves. The staff were great. Nothing but positives here.
We loved it... Water temps vary as to what pool you choose.. The kowhai was flowering.. Tuis around us.. Then the night sky... Magical.. Thanks for a great time
So worth a trip here. Such a relaxing environment to melt away any stress or worries.
Fantastic, we will be back
Iyou have to visit early morning:) much better than afternoon Not good during the 11-14:00 It's pretty crowded at that time. It's absolutely a good place for chilling
Was a lovely experience. Very relaxing. Unfortunately I got the impression that the Terrace walk was included but it’s not. Thought it was overpriced to pay that extra just to walk around Terrace. Overall was a lovely relaxing experience.
Sunday morning 9.00 is the perfect time for a soak and relax! I've found my blissful place
Absolutely beautiful, we arrived first thing in the morning it was nice and quiet, staff super friendly and helpful, they have towel/rob hire etc highly recommend.
The best hot pool experience I’ve had! Timing it right and going early on a Sunday morning meant we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. Pools are great temperatures and the landscaping looks beautiful and birdsong tops off the relaxing vibes. Highly recommend
Very nice and relaxing experience and more for adults. Not many people when we visited so it was pretty quiet which was a real plus. Pools are warm and clean and you definitely feel the benefit on your skin afterwards. Slight personal negatives - ladies changing room had no mirror, no soap, and shower had a no entry sign across it? Also $10 for a locker with a $5 refunded as a bond seemed a little excessive and most customers seemed to avoid using them and instead as we did take our bag in with us. This might be a bit of a pain if it was busier. Worth a visit for sure and would recomend.
It was a very cool experience, the pools are very cool. There are 3 pools (different temperatures). Im glad I got it for a discounted price as I wouldn’t want to pay the full amount for it. There’s a very short walk you can do which I definitely 100% recommend doing! It’s so so beautiful!
Staff where great at explaining about the park. And where very helpful in retrieving one of my walking poles that fell into one off the hot pools. There is a lot to see in the small area it is in and you really need to take your time to have a good look and do a second loop around to make sure you see everything. Have to laugh at one of the Ponga tree which has a attitude problem
After driving up the hill road just right of the Terraces Spa entry, we were able to overlook and marvel at the Wairakei Geothermal Station workings. Then we walked around a well kept bushy area with steaming pools, secluded areas, ponds, and of course the unique geyser terraces. Impressive! Took an hour to dally with nature, taking photos, Maori village & carvings was interesting too. Cafe coffee was nice. We then went next door for a delicious outdoor hot swim (additional cost). Perfect way to spend a few hours as we drove north through the valley. Highly recommend this example of NZ flora and geo marvels.
The pos were so good and relaxing. Definitely worth the trip. I would go again anytime if I could. Thumbs up +++
We had such a lovely morning relaxing here. Was nice to leave the kids at home and just chill in such a beautiful place. Will definitely be back again.
Highly recommend. Great place and cheap (through book me). No time limit, but you wouldn't want to be there for longer than 1.5 hours. Friendly staff and clean facilities. The terraces are well maintained. The cold shower is a huge plus. Do think the walk should be included in the admission price. But would definitely go again.
Very Beautiful place next time will do the hot pools. Thank you
Enjoyed our time. The staff were soo friendly and we will definitely be back
Was one of the best Amazing, knowledgeable experience to see and know nature miracles. Very well preserved and maintained. We as family enjoyed every moment and great for our 7 year daughter to explore and experience various facets of nature. Staff very supportive and kind provided wheel chair for our mother to make her experience great!! So thankful to the team. Loved Maori village to get an idea about their living style, simple living!!
Need a place to relax and unwind this is it. Beautiful sounds of the birds, great customer service with friendly staff. The natural thermal pools were clean and having the option of 3 different temperatures was an added benefit. Left with the body feeling great :)
Walk was amazing even in the rain! The lovely lady behind the counter offered us some umbrellas to keep dry! Kids thought the walk was so cool especially the little huts!
Visited the walkway the first time followed by the pools and then revisited everyday for the next week of our holidays with the Book me app. Restricted to a morning visit if you’re after the half price deal but it was a highlight of our trip to Taupo. Very impressive geological experience ( though the tiers are man made to mirror others close by that were destroyed). Very clean and well kept. Friendly staff.
I thought we were just going for a swim but it was so much more! Very relaxing and afterwards your skin feels so soft!
Absolutrly stunning. Beautiful surroundings & the water is blue & clear. Its so relaxing & i go there everytime im in taupo. The best!!
Me and my friend did the walk and then the hotpools, really enjoyed the walk it is only a 10/20 minute walk depending on how many pictures you like to take, the hot pools were stunning, it wasn't busy. Really enjoyed my time, and would definitely go again.
I would definitely rate this as one of the best hot pools in the north Island.
I wish there were more starts to give to this incredible place. From the second you get out of the super clean changing room into the pool (or should I say heaven) area the whole experience turns into a paradise. We found the perfect spot to the side of the big cascade and spent hours, the water temperature was just perfect, reaching over 39 degrees and the benches and elevations on the pool allowed us to seat or laid down as we wanted. A nice man comes to check the water often and he smiles and talk to us. Price was excellent and even if it was double the price it would still be worthy. Love it!
A series of geothermal pools ranging from super-hot to warm, nestled amongst well maintained plants. Your ticket allows entry for as long as you like; note that it shuts earlier on Thursdays for weekly draining & cleaning. Change room, lockers (extra $), showers and washrooms are available and there are plenty of hooks and seating areas dotted around to leave your towel etc. Take a container of water to stay hydrated! Chilled bottles are available for purchase. The paths are pebbled cement, so you may want to bring some beach shoes for comfort. A pretty place to bathe in mineral-laden waters. No children.
Great family walk. Recommend!
