Hobbiton is the world-famous movie set where Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit were filmed!
Hamilton Gardens is home of NZ first traditional Maori garden and a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors.

The drive to Hobbiton will take two and a half hours. We’ll make a short stop along the way to stretch our legs. Upon arriving we have around 10 mins to use toilets or buy some food/snacks (optional extra costs).
The Hobbiton Tour will take us to the famous location that has been the home for the film crew of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit during the time of production. Enjoy!
After a long and informative tour, we’ll take our lunch around just outside the farm at the “Shire’s Rest” café. You have the option to bring your own food or buy from the café.
We then depart for Hamilton. One of Hamilton’s major attractions is the Hamilton Gardens, where we can spend some time enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Come for a walk, relax, or enjoy coffee and ice cream at the cafe by the lake. We will be back in Auckland at the end of the day, where you will be dropped off by Britomart.

Hobbiton and Hamilton Gardens
Most enjoyable day and would recommend it to those who enjoy the story of the Hobbits and also the amazing work of the gardeners who have made the different garden themes such a picture to see.

sense of distrust
We were booking this tour. But I received a email that my chosen date hasn’t reached the minimum number of participants required to host the trip. And our trip was rescheduled to another date without asking. I contacted them many times to get my money back because we couldn’t attend that day, but I don’t yet receive any reply. My money is still not refunded.

Totally Disappointed !!!
If I could rate a negative star, I would do it. I initially booked the tour for Dec 10 but it rescheduled to Dec 18 which was totally acceptable for me. But on that day (Dec 18, today), I went to the pickup location (which was a bus stop near the auckland art gallery) on 7:50 AM (the pickup time is 8AM) but I couldn't find any buses. I tried to call their number 02102641688 and no one answeres (may be early). I waited at the pick location until 8:30AM and after that went back home, felling totally disappointed. I am still not sure if they would refund me back or not. If anyone from this tour want to reach me, here is my no. 0224210685.

Hobbiton
Driver late to pick up with no markings on the bus. On the itinerary drop off was Britomart this didn't happen. Driver drove fast especially on quiet roads and a number of times on his phone while driving.
