Goldfields Railway: Take a journey down memory lane on the Heritage Goldfields Railway as you discover what used to be known as the East Coast Main Trunk Line, an area steeped in gold mining history. Soak up beautiful views along the way and take a break at Waikino Station to enjoy a drink and Devonshire scone. If you like, pack a picnic and spend some extra time exploring the gorge and historic sites before catching a later train back - so convenient and stress-free!
