Loved the flexibility of the skipper. We had a small, friendly bunch to sail with. That made it easy to move about the boat. The pizza aboard was a lovely touch. Our skipper was highly knowledgeable over the area, nz and so many other things. The swabs and bean bags are a great idea. Fortunate to have a spectacular weather. Shame about no wind. Gladly recommend to others

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip aboard Barbary. Our captain, Jamie, was very entertaining and informative. We had beautiful weather, although the wind was lacking so we motored more than sailed. The kids loved a chance to steer the ship.

It was very amazing my boys enjoyed it loved the maori cravings and the yummy as pizza and drinks and the captain was absolutely awesome thanks heaps for an amazing experience something me and the boys will never forget. Thanks heaps I highly recommend

Had an amazing sailing trip with Sail Fearless! My 4 boys absolutely enjoyed it with the highlight nor only being the beautiful carvings, but being able to jump off the boat and swim in the beautiful crystal clear waters of Taupõ Moana! Thanks crew, definitely recommending to friends and whanau.

We brought our tickets online only 20 minutes before the last trip for the day (5:00 pm trip) and was by far the highlight of our long weekend! Our guide was awesome, friendly, hospitable and very knowledgeable about the history of Lake Taupo and the Maori rock carvings. The views were breathtaking... We will defiantly be back with friends soon!! Thanks for an amazing experience team!

Amazing trip and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the lake and the carvings from a different view. Loved it and would do it again anytime. Great tour guide made the trip very comfortable

We had an awesome time! The weather was perfect—sunny and beautiful, though we didn’t get much wind for sailing. Even so, the experience was still really enjoyable. The day was memorable not just for us adults, but also for our 8-year-old, who had lots of questions for the skipper! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun day out. We’ll definitely consider it again next time!

Loved the whole experience. Very fun and exciting. Best part is that you get to experience the boat ride as well, while watching the others parasail as well...its like two attractions in one!!

Would say this is a absolute must do when in Lake Taupo. The guide was awesome. The sail to the rock was smooth an enjoyable. And a swim at the end was a bonus

Would 100% recommend this experience to everyone! The boat was well presented and in immaculate condition. The crew were all super friendly, very knowledgeable and just absolutely fantastic 5 starts for the crew! The views on the journey out were stunning and the rock carving itself was spectacular! Free hot drinks on board as well as alcoholic beverages you can buy, even got a freshly baked warm muffin for the journey back to the harbor!

Really enjoyed our sail, great value for money. Very relaxing and interesting too Loved being powered by wind or electric - very peaceful and no fumes! We didn’t go on sunset cruise in the end but went the next morning.

On a perfect day, to sail with David, and his little mate Sam, on a classic sailboat was an unforgettable experience! It was great to set sails, although in light winds, and hear the interesting background to the Maori carvings and Lake Taupo in general. Appreciated the cool drink on offer, and we couldn't wish for a more pleasant afternoon.

Even though the water was a bit rough, the experience was great! Big shout out to the crew, Craig and the Skipper. Got to meet people from different parts of the world which was lovely. Stopped for a swim in this beautiful cozy little spot. So glad we booked ourselves on this 2.5 hour trip. Was definitely worth the money. Memories to take home for sure ??

Big Sky Parasailing is a fantastic experience. Very friendly staff that made us feel at ease through the whole process.Our teenage children absolutely loved it! The photos from the gopro are awesome and something they'll look back on alot. Big thumbs up guys:)

Spectacular scenery, lots of bird life and photo opportunities. Our skipper was very knowledgeable and ensured passengers had a good time. Crew were also great and refreshments were nice. 5 stars 🌟

We loved our boat trip. Peter and crew were very welcoming and the commentary was really informative. Loved the views along the way and the carving was very special. Enjoyed the refreshments and got some great photos.

Sailing on Barbary to the Maori Rock Carvings was fantastic, although we didn't have the nicest weather, Barbary was a very smooth sail through Lake Taupo to the Maori Rock Carvings. Our captain, Sarah, was a skilled yachtsman who told us about the area and the boat. The Maori Carvings were beautiful to see and a must do if you are in the area. Thank you!

Very good experience, we did the “ tour” on a moondaymorning. Beautiful weather, nice staff and a great experience. Worth very penny and a “ a top must do” when you visit Taupo.

Beautiful day to be out on the lake. Great hosts, friendly staff and a great commentary, enjoyed the hot drink and muffin. It was nice having an option to purchase something from the bar also. Thanks for a lovely afternoon, perfect activity for our girls weekend away.

Many years ago our son took the Floatplane experience and so encouraged us to while holidaying in Taupo. We were not disappointed. Everything from start to finish was 5 star. Our pilot gave an excellent commentary and his flying ability top class. I highly recommend you to take a flight.

We've watched the float plane take off and land so many times from our deck in Acacia Bay so we decided it was our turn. Locals turned tourist in our own town! We weren't disappointed.... The weather was perfect and our pilot, Ben, was an excellent guide. It's certainly a different view of the town from the air. A definite 'must do' for locals and visitors.

It was an amazing time for me and wife and my two boys.The pilot was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
