A sunny October day for quad biking. A party of 9, Dora and her 8 followers all with differing experience on quads. No prior experience required, jus t the minimum starting confidence, as Dora puts you through some learning first and as your confidence grows, so does the experience ramp up. An easy start, then tracks through the forest and down onto the river bed with some river fording thrown in. Full wet gear provided enables you to finish clean and dry. A much enjoyable fun time out. As a couple, we wouldn't normally spend so much on an 'experience', but felt this was pretty unique. It certainly didn't disappoint ! Our hosts, Poppy and Ross were so friendly and professional, I didn't have any nerves about the flight. It really is the best way to see the glacier and amazing landscape up close. Highly recommend to all.

Really informative and inspiring

Great activity for both beginners and experienced riders. If you know what to do you can canter while beginners are safe behind with an instructor. Amazing feeling to be back at the saddle. Stunning views and opportunity for perfect photos with a glacier at the background. Can highly recommend it ;)

Awesome trip with guide Phil! I did expect a bit more from the helicopter ride (maybe a small circle above the glaciers instead of only dropping us off on the foot of the glacier?). Anyhow, great trip and I highly recommend it.

Our guide Michael and his team were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely knowledgeable and took care of us throughout the sometimes very tough terrain. It was a once in a lifetime experience which I would highly recommended to anyone.

Did 16,500ft jump and absolutely worth to go for it! Stunning views with Franz Josef Glacier, Fox glacier and mt cook! Tandem Henry, he is cool and nice because I was too nervous before the jump and he was patient to make me feel comfortable. Don’t hesitate, just jump!

Amazing, just wish we could have had more time in the private pool, 45mins flies by. However the main pools were fantastic too. Highly recommend

The private hot pool was amazing! Beautiful private changing facilities and the most epic outlook from the pool. Definitely want to come back! Bonus points for the lovely staff!

Good activity for a really wet day. Good disability facility in ladies change room but more mats needed between change room and pools. Good pools. Clean. Staff pleasant.

We had the most amazing experience! Our tour guide Jara was amazing; he was very knowledgeable about trees (challenging us to quiz him on any kind we saw!) and rocks (explained all about the formations and even pointed out where fault lines were). He was very into guiding us, which in turn, made us very into the tour! Such a positive experience and hope to return one day and do the heli-hike they run, too! Loved that we got to borrow all of the gear. Must do! Thank you, Jara + Team!!

We booked for Thursday at the beginning but it was supposed to be cloudy and rainy so they sent us an email the day before to do it this day, to have better conditions, thank you for that. They are really nice, professional, fun and so on. A lot more scenic that up at Able Tasman. Amazing, thank you guys !

The drive to Franz Josef was magnificent! Once you arrive, you are greeted by professional staff. Then you’re taking to the drop zone where the instructors are even more friendly and professional! Great time, stunning views - a must do adventure!

I did kayaking before back in singapore but it's my first time doing kayaking on freshwater lake with such amazing scenery and of cuz on pretty choppy waves due to the wind. It was not as easy as I initially thought it would be but I'm glad that I shared a kayak with the guide. Although initially I hoped that I would get a single kayak on my own so that I can get nice photos of me kayaking alone but I still got nice back view photos from my guide. We spotted mandarin ducks and were super lucky to witness a 800yo+ tree falling just right next to us. Overall, I do recommend to sign up with a friend if you love kayaking! We had a fabulous day out kayaking. We are new to kayaking and it was not a problem to learn how to do it. There was lovely bird life. Great guide. FYI No view of the glaciers

We booked this as an activity more for my husband, however Dora was an amazing guide and teacher for myself as a complete beginner! My confidence on the quad grew quickly over our trip as she constantly encouraged and assured me i was doing well! Also what an experience to quad through some awesome rainforests and down the river bed. We loved it so much and would do it again in a heartbeat! Well worth the money we spent! Thanks Dora!

We had a great morning there was three of us aged between 8 and 52 and the three of us had an absolute ball it pushed my boundaries and I totally enjoyed it.

Loved the backstage tour, very interesting and informative guide, with fascinating facts about the kiwi and tuatara. Would recommend the backstage tour as without it, the general entry is quite short and does not really warrant its entry fee

Can not recommend this enough! Sarah was our guide and From the moment we met her she was kind, hilarious and very knowledgeable about not only her role but the environment and had all the area facts, which put the whole group at ease. Everyone is able to go at their own pace, so if you are a speed demon like me then you can hoon through the terrain or if you’re like my friend, who felt like a toddler learning how to walk for the first time, then you aren’t rushed at the back of the pack. This really is for everyone as our group ranged in age from young to like 70ish too! Loved every second of it and so did my friend who overcame her fears, and tears on this journey.
