As a couple, we wouldn't normally spend so much on an 'experience', but felt this was pretty unique. It certainly didn't disappoint ! Our hosts, Poppy and Ross were so friendly and professional, I didn't have any nerves about the flight. It really is the best way to see the glacier and amazing landscape up close. Highly recommend to all.
Did 16,500ft jump and absolutely worth to go for it! Stunning views with Franz Josef Glacier, Fox glacier and mt cook! Tandem Henry, he is cool and nice because I was too nervous before the jump and he was patient to make me feel comfortable. Don’t hesitate, just jump!
Our guide Michael and his team were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely knowledgeable and took care of us throughout the sometimes very tough terrain. It was a once in a lifetime experience which I would highly recommended to anyone.
Highly recommend. The guides are incredibly, very knowledgeable and keep you entertained. Spectacular views. Awesome Heli Ride.
Awesome trip with guide Phil! I did expect a bit more from the helicopter ride (maybe a small circle above the glaciers instead of only dropping us off on the foot of the glacier?). Anyhow, great trip and I highly recommend it.
Amazing, just wish we could have had more time in the private pool, 45mins flies by. However the main pools were fantastic too. Highly recommend
The private hot pool was amazing! Beautiful private changing facilities and the most epic outlook from the pool. Definitely want to come back! Bonus points for the lovely staff!
Definitely lived up to our expectations. Would go back again if we had the chance!
A stunningly beautiful setting to spend an hour or two soaking in the hot pools
Good activity for a really wet day. Good disability facility in ladies change room but more mats needed between change room and pools. Good pools. Clean. Staff pleasant.
Really informative and inspiring
We had the most amazing experience! Our tour guide Jara was amazing; he was very knowledgeable about trees (challenging us to quiz him on any kind we saw!) and rocks (explained all about the formations and even pointed out where fault lines were). He was very into guiding us, which in turn, made us very into the tour! Such a positive experience and hope to return one day and do the heli-hike they run, too! Loved that we got to borrow all of the gear. Must do! Thank you, Jara + Team!!
Loved how our tour guides are very passionate about their jobs! It was very informative and interesting. Got great shots of the glacier.
Nick was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Lots of information was shared with us. It was an enjoyable and informative trip. I Would certainly recommend the guided walk.
It is something that you should do in Franz Josef glacier.
Awesome one! First ever skydive and they made it so memorable and hard to beat! Did the kea jump! Lucky for the good weather and my coach checked everything to keep us safe! So, just dive in the air and enjoys the magnificent glacier and coastal view! Definitely loved it! Thanks for everything guys!
nice view and professional staffs. **Recommend**
We booked for Thursday at the beginning but it was supposed to be cloudy and rainy so they sent us an email the day before to do it this day, to have better conditions, thank you for that. They are really nice, professional, fun and so on. A lot more scenic that up at Able Tasman. Amazing, thank you guys !
Well organised, life changing incredible experience. You've not lived until you've fallen from a plane at terminal velocity.
The drive to Franz Josef was magnificent! Once you arrive, you are greeted by professional staff. Then you’re taking to the drop zone where the instructors are even more friendly and professional! Great time, stunning views - a must do adventure!
Exhilarating jump, mesmerizing freefall and spectator views. The crew is awesome from ground staff to the pilot and Peter the Tandem Master is super cool. Thank you Inflte for an incredible experience. See you next time on 20000F.
Absolutely AMAZING!!!!
Dany was fun during the whole dive. My experience was just amazing…
We were unsure whether this VIP tour would be worth the extra money when there were no chicks to view, but our ranger Devon certainly proved us wrong. We learnt an absolute ton of information about kiwi birds and everything they do at the Centre. Was also great to see and learn about the Tuataras. Devon was super knowledgable and friendly. Seeing the kiwis in the nocturnal viewing area was just so special. Loved quietly watching them rustling around for food or running around in their areas. This place is doing such great work for wildlife and I’d recommend supporting their work by visiting.
A lovely museum with lots to read! Still interactive enough to keep our 2 year old interested. Also had lunch at the cafe which was great.
Very enjoyable and I'm formative tour. Great to learn so much.
A great time to be hold especially if you get their back stage pass. Will worth the money as it goes to the Kiwi & Tuatara. Once you done the back stage part it easy to spend plenty off time with the rest of the activities . Spend about 1/2 hour trying to see the kiwis, but they are there you just need to be patient and stands still to find them.
So glad we paid extra for the backstage pass as I'd only have learnt about 10% if I'd just done the normal entry. We arrived early so had time to see the 2 live kiwi before doing the tour. The tour took about 45 mins and whilst the didn't have any kiwi eggs for us to look at we did get a really clear explanation of their life and trials. We then went back to see the kiwi again (it's a 48 hour pass you get). Brilliant An unexpected bonus was seeing the Tuatara and the glacier exhibit Highly recommended
All the staff were fantastic to deal with, had to move the time as my helicopter flight was changed due to weather but it was no issue and they were happy to accommodate. Learnt a lot from the tour and the guide was a very knowledgeable, lovely lady. Definitely worth the price.
A well set up display and very informative of the work with kiwi as well as the geology of glaciers. Friendly, helpful staff. The cafe makes an excellent coffee (and this is where we went to get a "coffee to go" rather than the larger cafe on the corner next door).
Great experience. Learnt alot. Best place to see Kiwi birds up close in NZ.
It was an afternoon with slight rain which made the scenery particularly beautiful. The guide Hailey was professional and caring. The tour can accommodate up to 18 people but there were only 2 of us. The double kayak we used was very easy to manoeuvre. The lake due to metallic content was rather warm. The best part was to kayak into the river and listen to birds singing. We were both experienced in canoeing and the tour lasted nearly two hours on water. If it were a bigger group, the duration on water would likely longer.
We had a wonderful time. It was thrilling! At first we had some difficulties controlling the monster bike, but the guides were so encouraging and after getting over the fear of toppling over the bike, we were flying across the terrain with confidence! One of the best activity we did! Won’t go wrong with this! And thank you guides! You were all wonderful!
