Une de mes meilleures activité en Nouvelle-Zélande. Le lieu est juste magnifique, d'un coté le levé de soleil et de l'autre les montagnes enneigée. Après le vol, nous avons eu le droit à un petit déjeuner (fruits, gâteaux, boisson ...). Le personnel est super accueillant, je recommande vraiment cette activité.

Such a great experience with amazing views of New Zealand in all 360 degrees, adventure-loving group of people and bubbles and fruit before departure to celebrate it! The team was helpful, accommodating and with a great sense of humour which made a huge contribution to the fun we had! We definitely have become baloonatics after the flight ?

This was a great way to spend a Saturday morning. The people were lovely and very welcoming. My husband booked me a trial flight for my 70th birthday as gliding has always appealed to me. Even though the weather wasn't optimal, I had a great flight with Rob who let me take the controls for part of the flight to do some turns. The view over the hills and around Sheffield were great. We also had the smoothest landing I've ever had. I'm keen to take up the opportunity for more flights and instruction by joining the Club. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to do this.

The clouds opened up in time to give a glorious break for my trip up with the glider. John was a wonderful instructor and it was exhilarating and peaceful at the same time. The scenery was stunning, the gliding more than memorable and the cherry on top was the opportunity to try my hand at gliding under the watchful eyes of John McCaw. I highly recommend treating yourself to a gliding opportunity and if you're lucky you will get Jon as your instructor~! Jackie

This was my 60th birthday gift. This was awesome. We were welcome by all the glider club team. We were offered some coffee and donuts, waiting for the weather to improve. Then we were taking to the glider, explained thoroughly what was going to happen, the safety rules, the instrumentation and controls. Then we took off and as soon as the tug plane released us, the instructor gave me the controls (this was a full dual controls glider). What a sensation ! The responsiveness to the controls is so immediate. And the feeling to surf on the air and play with the wind ! And the panoramic and unobstructed view, unbeatable by any classical aircraft. I wish I could do it again, and again and again.

This was a lifetimes ambition and finally at 69yrs - got it done thanx to Peter (Instructor) and the Canterbury Gliding Club - great and thank you achieved a first. Dreamed of doing it from boyhood, all I can say is stunning, fantastic experience due to Peter - thank you 👍 Brilliant views and fun to take the controls, great instructor. Again thank you Canterbury Gliding Club for your hospitality and friendly attitude …. Was like a brath of fresh air …. Thank you thank you 👍

Such nice guys, everything so easy from booking to flight, and correspondence from instructor on weather updates were much appreciated. I would recommend this experience to everyone, great views.

My first time in a glider was a fantastic experience. It was a great feeling to be so close to the snow capped mountains with amazing views you could never see any other way. I was a bit nervous but the lovely staff put me at ease and I went away on a high looking forward to the next time. Thanks so much to everyone at Springfield Gliding Club

Very helpful, friendly instructors that give a fun flight. Fantastic views while soaring along the ridges of the mountains. Equipment is good and sturdy. Highly recommended!

Almost had to postpone due to the weather but glad the weather cleared enough because what a blast of a day. This club has the most tranquil and well-placed location for its operations. There's a friendly choc labrador to say hi to you when you arrive and my instructor John was ever the hospitable host. I got to explore everything that caught my curiosity, the tug plane, the control room, the glider shed, and of course the gliders. The club members were more than informative when I asked about things and were easy to talk to. You could easily tell there was a wealth of knowledge there that they loved sharing with others when asked. Not only did John my instructor give me the best comprehensive flight experience from A - Z, but he went above and beyond when I returned from my flight a bit earlier than planned and said "I think we need to go again and get your money's worth" So that's exactly what we did :D This is a man who put the customer first and understands why he does what he does, and because of that, I'll definitely be back for sure. (Hopefully with some friends to share the day with) Find memories forever will they be

I highly recommend this to everyone. It is a fantastic trip with wonderful friendly people , Michael and Cameron. The whole experience of ballooning from setting up to packing up is worth the very early start!

Good experience I absolutely loved the mountain views honestly breathe taking probably the best and seeing the trees nearly falling of the edge that was even amazing to see under its roots. Nice to meet you mate and your son and doggie 🤙🏼😊

We had an amazing ride! Lots of stunning scenery and so many different types - wild bush, grazing land, soaring rock cliffs, mountains, snow..... just amazing! Blair gave us an incredible journey - fast and fun with stops for photos. Had an absolute ball and it was a much better journey than some from further south. Totally recommend for families too.

Enjoyed the 30 min ride a lot. Spins, close to the cliffs, some historical stops, great photo stops. Definitely worth the money and a good deal on bookme

Kids and parents loved it! Took our 5 and 7 year old girls and they loved it! Perfect activity and tour. Really enjoyed spending this money with a local company. Well worth it!

Young children shouldn't be put in front seat as they can't see where they're going. 6yr old was very disappointed with only being able to see out the sides of the boat.

Please do this experience as you will not be left disappointed but please book this trip via website instead! Blair is an amazing host whom made us feel welcome and incredibly entertained!

Family of four (two kids under ten) all really enjoyed the experience. Good informative stops along the way and some thrilling spins among a spectacular scenery. Would recommend ear muffs for younger children. We stayed dry :)

What a fantastic weekend, we went with another couple and had a great relaxing weekend. Staff where very friendly and helpful, especially Sonia who looked after us for our meals she was such a hardworking but very attentive person. The deal is great value for money and would definately recommend for a getaway. As for the Golf well enough said :).

From start to finish the whole trip was incredible! The staff went above and beyond and were so lovely! The package was such great value, dinner and breakfast were amazing and the golf course was stunning! The room was fabulous as well, loved the fire place. Would absolutely recommend!
