I traveled with a person in a wheelchair and I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The trip itself was an amazing spectacle. 110% worth the money, this has been the highlight of my trip to Queenstown so far.

Small group works for us just fine. We had great weather. Sacha was really nice and we had plenty of stops along the way. The buffet was nice, Cruise a little crowded... saw seals and dolphins too!

We schedule was on time. The pilot Blair showed and discussed us the sceneries along our flight, and on our way back we flew to a different route. It was really an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend True South Flight going to Milford Sound rather than long drive. It is one of a kind.

Whilst Milford Sound in its own right is a place of majestic beauty and grandiosity, the flight from Queenstown to Milford with True South Flight, was a real gem! So much beauty seen, so much interesting and valuabke information given by our friendly and professional pilote, Kevin (?). More than worth its price!

Unique place, photos don’t give justice of how beautiful it is, definitely a must do. The cruise is very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff and nice fish and chips for lunch

Lovely crew, plenty of seating inside and standing area outside (some benches as well). The bacon sandwich is nicer than the photo in the brochure makes you think, although more a snack than a full breakfast but still tasty. Veggie option was tomato and cheese. We saw a lot of dolphins, the skipper turned around so that we could see better, before continuing with the cruise. Very good value for money in my opinion. The beautiful area helps of course, but we had a great morning and would recommend this trip

The scenery is simply amazing, the mountains, the ocean, the waterfalls, and the forest are all breathtaking. No matter what the weather is, rain, snow, or sunny it is always a wonderful trip when you visit Milford Sound. Mitre Peak cruises were a great company to go with. Small boats which meant less people, inside viewing and outside along with the friendly commentary and helpful service made this trip extra special.

This was a great cruise! So glad we picked this one. Absolutely loved the kayak and swim. Saw the Fiordland crested penguin. Food exceeded our expectations and staff were helpful and friendly. Awesome ship! Well cared for ship and perfect for the purpose. If you can, pick this cruise, great value for money and you won’t regret spending a bit longer than a couple of hours on board.

That was the best activity we did here in NZ! We did a cruise in July last year, but it was only 2h. In this overnight cruise, you can experience the sunset, see the stars at night and see the sunrise in the morning. The kayak was super fun also, and the food is just amazing. Everyone of the staff team was great and we had an amazing time, this is certainly a must do for everyone that comes to NZ.

My family enjoyed a terrific day on Milford sound. The coach trip and stops were also terrific.

The cruise was brilliant! The boat was amazing, not a bad seat on it. The staff were friendly and really informative too. Would definitely recommend booking with these guys

Me and my husband drove to Te Anau the day before so that we can have a good rest and only catch the tour bus for a 2hrs drive. The coach arrived on time and the driver was very knowledgeable with few stops here and there. The cruise itself was amazing, food was great and the service of the staff was impeccable. It is really worth going on a tour bus rather than driving yourself to Milford Sound as you wouldn’t know history or information about the places you will pass through on your way to Milford Sound. Added bonus was a snowfall during our trip. I would highly recommend Go Orange for a trip to Milford Sound!

Excellent coach driver named Brad. Brad has a great knowledge of the area and excellent diver in which he shows in his driving and he's one on one with the passengers. Brad is surely a great asset to his company in which he works for... Go Orange. The cruise itself was excellent and we both really enjoyed it immensely... In a nutshell.... Excellent day for all concerned...have slot more photos.. but were all taken on the other camera...

Very nice experience. Able to view the waterfalls quite closely. Enjoyed the waterfalls though couldn't see much wildlife except for some Seals.

I took the Milford sound cruise in January 2019. It was very good. The cruise was purposeful and surrounded most of the main points. The guide was professional and knowledgeable.

An absolutely outstanding experience for our whole family. Couldn't have asked for better, weather was perfect, boat amazing and staff were exceptional. The knowledge they shared with us all was very impressive. Thank you all for a wonderful cruise.

Mitre Peak's boats are smaller and seem less intrusive then the larger operators. The team seem happy to go a little bit further to improve the customer experience and go to the same locations as the more expensive options plus, because they are smaller boats, get a bit closer. Their brochure and trip guide tells you to bring sunscreen, warm clothing etc.It fails to mention waterproofs, you will definitely need them if you are going outside, if you are on the foredeck you'll probably want a change of clothing as well! Impressive scenery even in the clouds and rain, more so as the rocky sides are curtained with waterfalls. Take something to keep your phone/camera dry and to be able to wipe it off after the inevitable drenching if ypu want to be on deck,otherwise sit in the nice dry cabin and enjoy the complimentary hot drinks.

We had a wonderful cruise helped by perfect weather and the knowledgable skipper and staff who were full of interesting facts. The scenery is incredible and we would do it again for those amazing views!

Fantastic trip, stunning views and the crew were fantastic. Not too many people on the boat and the boat was of smaller size compared to other companies which was great.

This was my second Milford Sound cruise, and we absolutely loved it. The weather gods and wildlife obliged, which definitely made the experience, however the boat crew solidified the positive impressions from the cruise. They were friendly, engaging and informative, which was such a contrast from another company with whom we had our first cruise a few months ago. The boat was small and not over-crowded - better chances to view the wildlife from a closer distance (a pod of dolphins showed up, and we spotted a couple of seals too). If I had to recommend one company to cruise with, it would be Mitre Peak.

We were travelling on a budget and the Mitre Peak, Milford Sound Cruise was well worth it. We saw much of Milford Sound's natural beauty and got up close to a couple of waterfalls. Staff members were lovely, both at the office and on the boat.

Our captain/operator did a great job of engaging all punters. Mitre Peak cruise is a much smaller boat, so feels more relaxed & easy going. Weather was good on the way out and turned a bit on the way back. We still managed to get great views of Mitre Peak, stunning water falls & plenty of penguins & some seals. Other staff on board were very friendly and helpful. Even as Kiwis growing up in this beautiful country, Milford Sound is an unforgettable experience.

Great Captain and Crew, not many people on board which made it even more pleasant, big is not always best!! the size of this boat I felt was perfect especially when nosing under the waterfall !!! Thanks Highly recommend getting out there and seeing our country while we are free from the international crowds! Support our tourism industry! I wish Mitre Peak Cruises all the Best for 2021 and hope to sail with them again in the near future!

Via an excellent deal off Bookme we had a fantastic 2 hour cruise out on the Sound, weather was superb, excellent commentary, and we got to see a group of penguin! A smaller boat than some of the other bigger operators but this made it more intimate and enjoyable for us. Definitely recommend this trip with Mitre Peak Cruises.

Ich hatte die erste Tour am Morgen und somit waren wir das zweite Boot im Sounds. Es war ein kleines Boot und somit konnte wir auch an einen Wasserfall heranfahren, der die morgendliche Dusche ermöglichte. Ein tolles Erlebnis und nur zu empfehlen.

From beginning to end this trip left us breathless. The scenery was amazing and being on a smaller boat made the trip even better. Dolphins, seals and waterfalls and spectacular mountains....what more could you need?

Their genuine approach towards costumers is admiring. The boats are not crowded at all so you really get the most out of the awe-inspiring, pure beauty of Milford Sound. Oh and there's coffee, milk & tea free for the taking & no plastic cups! Splendid, thanks a million!!

I had been advised not to go to Milford Sound because of risk of poor weather when in Qtown, thought i'd give it a shot anyway. Boyyy was i right! The mist and the rain made it more magical. Had an awesome and friendly bunch of people on our boat which made it more fun and memorable! Will do it again once ive saved enough money for my next NZ trip!
