Great experience. Friendly staff. Easy location. Was great to take the kids up the cable car to get there. We are stars is a great showing and while you're waiting there's plenty to check out.

We loved our experience at Space Place. It was quite easy to navigate as it was small, but hopefully it would get upgraded in the future. The planetarium show was amazing! We watched Dynamic Earth. The first half was a documentary, and the other half is like a presentation of one of the staff members there. She had such a great speaking voice and I absolutely enjoyed hearing her talk about space. We went a little early and it was a bit rainy so we didn't get to use the Telescope but this is just one more thing we can look forward to doing next time. Shout out to the wonderful staff there as well. They were all very accommodating, friendly and kind. We had no issues with our booking whatsoever. 5/5 for me :)

Amazingly brilliant

Absolutely one of the best things to do in Wellington. Movie and a hands on learning room. Gift shop was reasonably priced aswel.

A great place to reinforce learning for a child who has learnt about space. A lot of interactive areas for kids. I wouldn't recommend the 45min show (a movie and information about the stars and constellations) for young toddlers - should be a warning/recommendation I think. Other than that, was an awesome place for all ages. Great to spend a day exploring the gardens, tram riding and also Space Place ☺️

Great kids experience. The museum is outstanding for killing a good hour and so hands on and informative for adults and kids! The shows are a lovely opportunity to sit back and enjoy. (Take a few lollies in your pockets for getting everyone through!) Lovely staff!

All 5 of us had a great time. Loved the show and everything was amazing. We will be back next time on a clear night to check out the telescope:)

Loved seeing all the filming locations. Our guide was Grant, he was great. Loved the pictures so we could actually see the areas from movie. Lunch was yummy. Best part, all the stories... was great!

Dave (tour guide) was very friendly, cheerful and attentive towards everyone joining the tour. He also gave lots of information about the movie as well as the town itself! Had lots of fun and learnt a lot at Weta Cave! Will definitely recommend!

I could imagine they shooting the movie in that place, was a really cool experience. Mt Victoria is a plus that even if you don't go to the LOTR tour you should go there. Beautiful view. Weta workshop was amazing not only to LOTR fans but to any enthusiastic of sci-fi movies,

Even though our trip was only for half day, it was all well-spent. Thanks to Chewie (not sure about the spelling) for making it an awesome one. I almost had booked for the Weta Workshop coz I thought this is not included in the tour but I was surprised to know that it was part of the tour including the DVD documentary. Don't hesitate to book this because you will surely enjoy this tour even if you are not a solid LOTR fan.

Good value tasting tray on bookme and Tuatara has a nice range of beers! As it wasn't very busy, bartender also allowed us to pick which beers to taste so recommend as good value for money and a tasty selection

It's a small lil brewery with sparse seatings. Nicely done up place. I like that they had black and white photos of the brewers/crew - gives it a nostalgic feeling. Okay, first up with the available brews: they crew at the bar went through the beer on taps and was in no hurry for us choose our 8 choices. He was even patient enough to advise based on our preference. Even told us which is guest beer and its origin etc.

Traveled alone to Wellington for the first time for only 2 days. Didn’t know how to plan and visit so many places in a short period of time. The tour helped me in travelling all those wonderful places where I wanted to visit in 2 days. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly who knows all the history of Wellington. The lady driver was very sweet to me who gave me ticket to travel for the another day as I invested all my time in searching animals in the zoo? It was a fun trip. Would recommend all if wants to be familiar of the history and famous places of Wellington. My trip to the city would have been more confusing if I had opted for the city bus and taxis. Beyond the tour, I had enough time to explore the city myself. Thanks to all who guided me through Wellington for two days?
