Whilst Milford Sound in its own right is a place of majestic beauty and grandiosity, the flight from Queenstown to Milford with True South Flight, was a real gem! So much beauty seen, so much interesting and valuabke information given by our friendly and professional pilote, Kevin (?). More than worth its price!

Small group works for us just fine. We had great weather. Sacha was really nice and we had plenty of stops along the way. The buffet was nice, Cruise a little crowded... saw seals and dolphins too!

I traveled with a person in a wheelchair and I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The trip itself was an amazing spectacle. 110% worth the money, this has been the highlight of my trip to Queenstown so far.

We schedule was on time. The pilot Blair showed and discussed us the sceneries along our flight, and on our way back we flew to a different route. It was really an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend True South Flight going to Milford Sound rather than long drive. It is one of a kind.

Good driver

Milford Sound is such a beautiful place, with awe-inspiring, other worldly scenery. I could just imagine dinosaurs or dragons suddenly appearing out of the mist.

Loved the trip - expensive of course but totally worth it for the time saved and the fantastic views from the plane!! The flight was even better than the cruise! The crew from True South Flights was really friendly and professional. Fully recommend!

The tour was nothing short of AMAZING! Our guide Jeff was spectacular and was very knowledgeable of the area! Milford Sounds is surreal and left my husband and me absolutely speechless! I highly recommend people do this instead of driving themselves. You learn so much about the area and history!!

Captain of the boat is very observant , sighted penguins in the bushes and we had no chance to do that . We were perplexed with sights , and beauty of Milford. Thank you team

Fantastic commentary on the bus, plenty of stops to stretch legs and take photos. Unfortunately we had pretty bad weather so hid inside the boat for most of the time. But the boat was great, food and beverages were top notch (good options incl. healthy food and not overpriced). Would not hesitate to book with Go Orange again.

Unique place, photos don’t give justice of how beautiful it is, definitely a must do. The cruise is very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff and nice fish and chips for lunch

The scenery is simply amazing, the mountains, the ocean, the waterfalls, and the forest are all breathtaking. No matter what the weather is, rain, snow, or sunny it is always a wonderful trip when you visit Milford Sound. Mitre Peak cruises were a great company to go with. Small boats which meant less people, inside viewing and outside along with the friendly commentary and helpful service made this trip extra special.

Lovely crew, plenty of seating inside and standing area outside (some benches as well). The bacon sandwich is nicer than the photo in the brochure makes you think, although more a snack than a full breakfast but still tasty. Veggie option was tomato and cheese. We saw a lot of dolphins, the skipper turned around so that we could see better, before continuing with the cruise. Very good value for money in my opinion. The beautiful area helps of course, but we had a great morning and would recommend this trip

This was a great cruise! So glad we picked this one. Absolutely loved the kayak and swim. Saw the Fiordland crested penguin. Food exceeded our expectations and staff were helpful and friendly. Awesome ship! Well cared for ship and perfect for the purpose. If you can, pick this cruise, great value for money and you won’t regret spending a bit longer than a couple of hours on board.

That was the best activity we did here in NZ! We did a cruise in July last year, but it was only 2h. In this overnight cruise, you can experience the sunset, see the stars at night and see the sunrise in the morning. The kayak was super fun also, and the food is just amazing. Everyone of the staff team was great and we had an amazing time, this is certainly a must do for everyone that comes to NZ.

My family enjoyed a terrific day on Milford sound. The coach trip and stops were also terrific.

Excellent coach driver named Brad. Brad has a great knowledge of the area and excellent diver in which he shows in his driving and he's one on one with the passengers. Brad is surely a great asset to his company in which he works for... Go Orange. The cruise itself was excellent and we both really enjoyed it immensely... In a nutshell.... Excellent day for all concerned...have slot more photos.. but were all taken on the other camera...

What a great day we had one of the best days in new Zealand so far thank you for a wonderful day .

Me and my husband drove to Te Anau the day before so that we can have a good rest and only catch the tour bus for a 2hrs drive. The coach arrived on time and the driver was very knowledgeable with few stops here and there. The cruise itself was amazing, food was great and the service of the staff was impeccable. It is really worth going on a tour bus rather than driving yourself to Milford Sound as you wouldn’t know history or information about the places you will pass through on your way to Milford Sound. Added bonus was a snowfall during our trip. I would highly recommend Go Orange for a trip to Milford Sound!

Awesome trip, loved being able to check out the waterfalls and wildlife up close on a smaller boat!

Sadly it was not a clear day when we did the cruise, but it was still an amazing life experience! MitrePeak is a smaller ship which is why we choose this cruise, they provide a wonderful experience and can get the ship up close to the water falls and the seals... A perfect life adventure.

We prefer smaller groups and this was perfect. Had a great day out. Weather was fantastic. Highly recommend Mitre peak cruises.

The views were superb and the captain was very informative.

We took the 9am cruise to avoid the crowd and found that this was a very good decision. We were extremely lucky, since it had been raining for 5 days, but the weather cleared up when we did our cruise. The Real Journeys staff were very friendly, the view from both the top deck and the lower deck was nice, and the toilets were clean. Everything contributed to an amazing experience.

Wow, can not recommend this cruise enough, we just had the best day. The weather was beautiful but most of all the boat was not overcrowded and the Captain Brad was so informative and funny, he really made the cruise even more fabulous. The cruise went for two hours and I felt we got fantastic value for money. We saw dolphins alongside our boat and seals enjoying the sun on the rocks. Could not ask for a better day.

Mitre Peak Cruises was a great choice and we can tell you - after having another cruise with a different company we are able to tell the difference! With Mitre Peak Cruises you get a small boat (fewer people), the opportunity to stand outside, you get way closer to the seals and the waterfalls than on other boats and a crew that is actually caring about giving you interesting facts, answering your questions, having a conversation! I mean we were lucky, we were only about 15 people on our tour, but I imagine even with a full boat it still feels a lot more personal than on a huge cruise ship. Choose a company like this and you will have a great time!

Glad that we chanced upon the deal. Cruise is the smallest of the lot but pretty private and apparently they sail further than other cruises. Self served coffee and tea is available too.

When we were looking for cruises in Milford sound we were spoilt for choice. We finally chose Mitre peak cruises as they were a smaller more personal tour. Thoroughout the trip the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience unforgettable! I would highly recommend this cruise!! Make sure you go under the waterfall ... you made need a poncho though! (Thanks to the lady with the curly blonde hair... you were super)

A fantastic experience! Nice & intimate - enough space for everyone to see the amazing view & the captain had a wealth of knowledge about the area. The waterfall was awesome! You won’t get that on a bigger boat!

We are glad we chose Mitre Peak Cruise as it allows us to get close to the water falls. It was so close that my son was all wet. Love it!
