Awesome, top adventure. Great Pilot. Great bucket list experience.

We schedule was on time. The pilot Blair showed and discussed us the sceneries along our flight, and on our way back we flew to a different route. It was really an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend True South Flight going to Milford Sound rather than long drive. It is one of a kind.

Certainly a must while you in New Zealand. I am a local but still fascinated from the beautiful world we are surrounded and we should appreciate every minute of it. Truesouthflights made this day magical for us. Keep up the good adventures Toddy & Peg

I traveled with a person in a wheelchair and I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The trip itself was an amazing spectacle. 110% worth the money, this has been the highlight of my trip to Queenstown so far.

We were unsure whether to drive to Milford or spend the money to fly & I'm so glad we chose the latter. The welcome & subtle weigh in was great, staff were all very friendly. The only thing needed before take off was possibly a 2nd toilet...took a while to queue for the facilities! The flight itself was amazing. We had a beautiful day for it, sunshine & clear skies. Our pilot, Karl was awesome pointing out the sights during the 40 min flight over the mountains & lakes. If anyone is thinking of doing this then please do...its an experience you wont forget!!

Small group works for us just fine. We had great weather. Sacha was really nice and we had plenty of stops along the way. The buffet was nice, Cruise a little crowded... saw seals and dolphins too!

The cruise was a very special experience. We had a lot of rain during our cruise and didn’t see that much of the mountains, but the amount of waterfalls we saw beause of the rain was amazing!! The clouds in combination with the rain and the mist made it a mystic place for us. An unforgettable experience!

Wonderful coach and cruise to Milford Sound. The coach driver was very knowledgeable giving good insights. A smooth drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound. A few things could be improved to have a similar experience to guests- the rooftop glass window doesn't cover all, which is understandable considering other necessities, but could relook at how this can be made better; fantastic lunch but not enough tables especially with non Southern Discoveries booking the table for their clients; and finally just 3 stops for journey which has 15 scenic stops is pretty low. Overall still an enjoyable trip.

The tour was nothing short of AMAZING! Our guide Jeff was spectacular and was very knowledgeable of the area! Milford Sounds is surreal and left my husband and me absolutely speechless! I highly recommend people do this instead of driving themselves. You learn so much about the area and history!!

I went on the cruise on a rainy day, it was surprisingly spectacular water falls along the way and in Milford Sound. Best experience, highly recommended.

We had great weather--not a cloud in the sky--and our guide Tobias was wonderful. We kayaked around 15km over 4 hours and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of Milford Sound. All gear is provided, just make sure to take insect repellent and a bag lunch/snacks.

Bus was comfortable, large, well equipped including good heating/cooling. Driver was knowledgeable, entertaining, helpful and highly competent. Boat was comfortable, had versatile seating and viewing arrangements, & free fish and chips was great. Captain's commentary was informative and altogether bus and boat tour was most enjoyable. Staying in Te Anau rather than Queenstown would involve less travel on the day - Go Orange pick up from there. Hindsight id marvellous isn't it?

Captain of the boat is very observant , sighted penguins in the bushes and we had no chance to do that . We were perplexed with sights , and beauty of Milford. Thank you team

Great experience from start to finish. Bridget kept us up to date after 1st trip was cancelled due to the weather. Andrew picked us up on time and pilot Ewan was great pointing things out during the flight and even warning us when to expect a wee bump or two. Cruise was also brilliant. The captain and crew kept us well informed. We’re worth the cost.

From the minute we boarded the bus, this was a day to remember. Our driver Jason (aka Cowboy) made the long journey down to Milford, both interesting and hilarious. The cruise, with Captain Dennis and his friendly crew, was breathtaking. The brilliant calm blue sunny day made it perfect. I would recommend the Go Orange experience to anyone. Couldn't have been better !

We booked this trip through bookme but unfortunately no order confirmation or receipt was received. We booked again direct. Upon arrival we had paid for 4 tickets and not 2. They actively refunded us there and then. The actual trip was a quick 2 hours through the sound and we stayed on upper viewing deck which was not crowded. A simple commentary was provided and we stopped 3 times to see highlights which for us was seeing a penguin and stunning scenery.

We had the best time! It was so so so beautiful and we got very close to the waterfalls for an amazing view, saw seals, and took in the breathtaking views. The tour commentary was awesome too. Highly recommend!

Such good value for money, the staff are all really friendly and the views speak for themselves but the mitre peak know how to make the most of them and take you to all the best stops! Would definitely do this cruise again.

The Milford Sounds cruise is a must do! The scenery is absolutely stunning. The Mitre Peak crew were so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this experience! ? It was a wonderful day out at Milford Sound and this boat cruise was well worth it! The onboard crew were outstanding, helpful and informative and we got to truly experience Milford Sound at its finest! Definitely worth doing! ❤️

Dave our driver/guide for the journey to Milford Sound was fantastic. Plenty of opportunities to stop for photos on the way to and from Milford Sound to capture the stunning beauty of this area. The cruise was wonderful, enjoyed the buffet lunch and the natural beauty of the area. This is a must do experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with VIP Milford.

We went on an absolutely perfect day, under clear skies and just after a massive rain had gone through, and I’d 1000% recommend! Riding the swell out was tons of fun from our spot standing at the front of the boat. The captain also took us right up into a couple waterfalls, which was both fun and funny. I personally haven’t experienced a cruise with one of the bigger boats that the other local companies use, but it certainly seems like it’s a bit more fun with these guys and their little vessels. Cheers, and have a great time in Milford!

. WOW what a Beautiful peice of paradise... Majestic surroundings breath taking scenery, Friendly & helpful staff, Stunning views... We even got blessed by the gods as we went under Sterling Waterfall. So cool watching the dolphins swimming alongside of us & seals basking in the sun. Great knowledge of the area, historically, culturally & environmentally... great "Value for your Money" What a fantastic time had by the entire Whanau... Totally worth it !!! Its a very good experience and I do recommend.

This cruise was brilliant. I was hesitant at first to book because I am not one for cruises, but after experiencing this ride through the fiord I have no hesitation to recommend it. Taking a cruise, kayaking, or flying are the only ways to truly experience Milford Sound. I would recommend because 1) We got there late and the guides were flexible to get us on the next cruise 2) Free coffee! 3) Some other cruises only allow you on part of the deck, but on this one the top deck had 360 degree views 4) Not very crowded at the 11am ride 5) The ride was not rushed, so we had time to experience the countless views, the seals, the dolphins, and being splashed by 2 waterfalls.

This tour is a must do! Milford Sound is out of this world! Even though the weather wasn’t great for us, it was still such a magical experience! Good commentary and knowledge from staff, and good facilities on board.

We got the pick up point from Frankton and Drew (bus guide) was simply great. He made commentary along the way and generally funny dude. Safe driver as well ?. Amazing view along the way to Milford. Glad I took the coach. The cruise was amazing! We got to see dolphins twice! and the crew were amazing. got us as close as they can to the waterfall, seals and dolphins. RECOMMENDED!

Absolutely stunning view.

We had the best time on this cruise-largely due to the fantastic weather and incredible landscapes. Crew are friendly and helpful and the captain was great fun-make sure you wear a rainproof jacket and stand at the front of the boat under the waterfall-incredible fun! Parking is $20 for 4 hours just up the road from the wharf.

My family enjoyed a terrific day on Milford sound. The coach trip and stops were also terrific.

Whilst Milford Sound in its own right is a place of majestic beauty and grandiosity, the flight from Queenstown to Milford with True South Flight, was a real gem! So much beauty seen, so much interesting and valuabke information given by our friendly and professional pilote, Kevin (?). More than worth its price!

Boat was really good, okay coffee and tea. They offered an earlier departure - that was great! Average price but very expensive for a 2 hours trip. I would love to have more information about Milford sound while they are taking us around the area.

If weather is clear it will take your breath away. We were lucky enough to experience this cruise during clear & calm weather. Choose your timing wisely because cloud cover or wind will totally change this experience. That said, the drive to the bay was well worth the entire trip alone. The mountains and landscape is beautiful!

Milford Sound is such an iconic place that you need to immerse in it and see it from different aspects. The 2.5 hour kayak followed by the 2 hour cruise looked to be and indeed wax a great way to do that. The kayak trips get you up & personal with the water. The cruise let's you see more and in a relaxed way. Perfect.

The rain didnt damper our spirits. It was worth the ride and the tour was was just fabulous with super friendly staff and lovely commentary throughout the journey. We enjoyed every minute of it, thanks Sourthern Discoveries. The pictures won't do justice.....

Loved it. We had a spectacular day. Took the 3:15pm trip. Less people on board which made it much more comfortable. Scenery was spectacular. Worth every cent.

We stayed in Te Annau, to just have a 2 hour drive to Milford. Southern discovery's cat wasn't full with plenty of room on all decks. We'd booked the buffet lunch on the 11:15 departure, but on check in we're offered the VIP upgrade for $30 each. What a great deal, Molly, our hostess, boarded us 10 mins before general boarding, and immediately served us Coffee (or beer/wine) before offering us our choice of starters, then choice of 3 main courses. We chose braised beef and fish. Our private room and flying bridge accommodated c.20, we were the only 2 vips that trip and had Molly's personal commentary and attention the whole trip. The cruise was spectacular made special by Molly. Top tips - go early to beat the crowds, when we disembarked there were 19 coaches and many mini-buses. None when we arrived. Early arrivals find free parking easily, the woodland walk is very pleasant. If vip, eat early to have more time on deck. Go early to have relaxing return drive. Go VIP, fabulous! We called it right this trip.

From seeing dolphins to seals to penguins, it was just amazing!!! Definitely a breath taking moment!!!

I had a wonderful experience that I can never have in other place.I could see a fiordland penguin! That is my precious memory in my life.
