Small group works for us just fine. We had great weather. Sacha was really nice and we had plenty of stops along the way. The buffet was nice, Cruise a little crowded... saw seals and dolphins too!

Certainly a must while you in New Zealand. I am a local but still fascinated from the beautiful world we are surrounded and we should appreciate every minute of it. Truesouthflights made this day magical for us. Keep up the good adventures Toddy & Peg

I traveled with a person in a wheelchair and I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The trip itself was an amazing spectacle. 110% worth the money, this has been the highlight of my trip to Queenstown so far.

Unique place, photos don’t give justice of how beautiful it is, definitely a must do. The cruise is very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff and nice fish and chips for lunch

It was great and we loved the site.

Lovely crew, plenty of seating inside and standing area outside (some benches as well). The bacon sandwich is nicer than the photo in the brochure makes you think, although more a snack than a full breakfast but still tasty. Veggie option was tomato and cheese. We saw a lot of dolphins, the skipper turned around so that we could see better, before continuing with the cruise. Very good value for money in my opinion. The beautiful area helps of course, but we had a great morning and would recommend this trip

The scenery is simply amazing, the mountains, the ocean, the waterfalls, and the forest are all breathtaking. No matter what the weather is, rain, snow, or sunny it is always a wonderful trip when you visit Milford Sound. Mitre Peak cruises were a great company to go with. Small boats which meant less people, inside viewing and outside along with the friendly commentary and helpful service made this trip extra special.

That was the best activity we did here in NZ! We did a cruise in July last year, but it was only 2h. In this overnight cruise, you can experience the sunset, see the stars at night and see the sunrise in the morning. The kayak was super fun also, and the food is just amazing. Everyone of the staff team was great and we had an amazing time, this is certainly a must do for everyone that comes to NZ.

This was a great cruise! So glad we picked this one. Absolutely loved the kayak and swim. Saw the Fiordland crested penguin. Food exceeded our expectations and staff were helpful and friendly. Awesome ship! Well cared for ship and perfect for the purpose. If you can, pick this cruise, great value for money and you won’t regret spending a bit longer than a couple of hours on board.

My family enjoyed a terrific day on Milford sound. The coach trip and stops were also terrific.

Excellent coach driver named Brad. Brad has a great knowledge of the area and excellent diver in which he shows in his driving and he's one on one with the passengers. Brad is surely a great asset to his company in which he works for... Go Orange. The cruise itself was excellent and we both really enjoyed it immensely... In a nutshell.... Excellent day for all concerned...have slot more photos.. but were all taken on the other camera...

Me and my husband drove to Te Anau the day before so that we can have a good rest and only catch the tour bus for a 2hrs drive. The coach arrived on time and the driver was very knowledgeable with few stops here and there. The cruise itself was amazing, food was great and the service of the staff was impeccable. It is really worth going on a tour bus rather than driving yourself to Milford Sound as you wouldn’t know history or information about the places you will pass through on your way to Milford Sound. Added bonus was a snowfall during our trip. I would highly recommend Go Orange for a trip to Milford Sound!

Been down to Milford sounds around three times always been on the bigger boats , but first time on a smaller boat and the experience is much more better they take the time for everyone to take in the breathtaking views of the sound, be it chasing some dolphins , spotting penguins and visiting all major spots definitely worth it guy’s go with mitre peak cruises you won’t regret it!!

Travelled from Queenstown to Milford Sound, beautiful views on the way and also on the cruise! Nice crew who took their time to give us the best experience. Even the end of a whale come up. Amazing!

The best time I spent on south island was in cruise. Between the mountains with waterfalls and sound of waves were a beautiful experience. Just a suggestion, if they can provide hot milk as well with hot water will be great to have more choices of tea. Good luck

This is hands down the BEST cruise of Milford Sound. Takes you all the way out, further than the other boats and is the most affordable. Trip is 2hrs long but goes by so fast when enjoying the views. Coffee and Tea provided so that was a bonus and the top deck has a nice little sheltered part to sit in if you want to be up there when it’s windy. We got super close to the waterfall, it was an amazing experience!!! Captain and staff spoke a lot about the area and about some surrounding areas and gave a lot of facts. This was an amazing journey and I am glad to have done my first tour of Milford Sound with Mitre Peak Cruises. I HIGHLY recommend this company if you’re planning on taking a trip to Milford Sound.

Totally our favorite part of our(welcome to retirement holiday) through the central Otago and Southland.The crew were amazing,the scenery picture perfect,seals,birds,and the big pod of Dusky dolphins was the iceing on the cake..We will be back this time next year. Nga mihi Dan&Bev Stokes

We had 100% rain and I still feel so thankful for that hot chocolate offered by cruise Lady was great. We went out further then what most cruises did. This was awesome, also up and close with some of the waterfalls. Good quality for the amount paid! 10/10 would recommend

We loved our experience! Spent a long time researching which company and boat to go with and very glad we rode the Milford Mariner with Real Journeys. The weather cleared up, captain was informative and funny, managing to get the nose of the boat right under the spray of a couple of waterfalls - a blast for us folk out on the front deck! He spotted a pod of dolphins and gently veered the us over to see if they would interact with the boat. The dolphins approached the boat and started swimming alongside it, surfacing and even showing off some tail slaps on the surface! We saw another boat on the water who totally missed this, so thank you captain Deon and the Real Journeys staff for the incredible highlight! The boat has an abundance of indoor and outdoor areas, complimentary tea/coffee/hot choc machine, clean toilets on board and more. We saved about $30 per person via booking.me which is great. We highly recommend you gear up and hang out in the front deck for the best photo opps with uninterrupted views and to be up close to the waterfalls. If you're lucky, maybe even a dolphin encounter :)

We drove down to Milford Sound to do this cruise and it was certainly worth the drive! We were lucky enough to have a perfect winters day for our cruise! The scenery is amazing and the captain and crew were lovely. The sound is a beautiful place and the commentary by the captain was informative. Our lunch on board was really nice too. We were so pleased we made the trip down it was well worth it!

Wonderful experience…

Booked Mitre Peak Cruise through Bookme and after reading the reviews, they did not disappoint. I loved how it is a smaller ship, with less people. Meaning you can get around the ship easily and have lots of photo opportunities. The smaller boat means you get really close to the waterfall as well and yoy will get wet!

Magnificent cruise, I was lucky with the weather but the cruise itself was great, it was nice to go close to the waterfalls, further to the sea than other boats, the captain didn't hesitate to change direction to see dolphins. My best day in NZ so far, I recommend 100%

Unbelievable morning with majestic scenery and dolphins swimming right next to boat. Murray the Captain was great and even took us right up next to local fisherman pulling up crayfish explaining his daily work.

We had the most fantastic trip with Mitre Peak Cruises. They are a smaller boat, which means less people & you can get much closer to the sides of the mountains & the wildlife. We saw dolphins, penguins & seals. The guys who ran the Cruise were really friendly & very knowledgeable. The views were spectacular!!!
