What a fabulous way to spend time on such a beautiful Lake. The captain, Kerry, was friendly and overflowing with local knowledge. My husband and I could not recommend this highly enough!!

Beautiful day to be out on the lake. Great hosts, friendly staff and a great commentary, enjoyed the hot drink and muffin. It was nice having an option to purchase something from the bar also. Thanks for a lovely afternoon, perfect activity for our girls weekend away.

We did the sunset cruise and what an amazing experience it was! David is an experienced skipper and wonderful host. The Moari rock carvings were beautiful and the sunset just gorgeous. Thank you so much for such an unforgettable experience!

Excellent service. The ebikes were easy to learn. Lachie spent some time making sure we could control the ebike in a safe manner. It was awsome fun using the ebikes as me and the wife were 1st time users. Lachie dropped the ebikes to our motel and then waited for us to finish and came to pick them up from our motel. We plan to holiday again in Taupo so we can hire the ebikes. Thankyou Lachie for a great experience. Cheers mate see you soon

So much fun! We were so close to the carvings and the water was amazing. We even got to jump in! The pizza was tasty and the drinks were super affordable. The guides were very funny and knowledgeable about the lake and carvings.

Awesome trip on the sailboat for me and my girlfriend both first time on the lake Taupo and sailboat.

Would give more stars, if I could. The crew was fantastic from the start. We did a sunset cruise and this also included pizza and drink, which was awesome. Very chilled vibes, beautiful sunset over lake Taupo and really spectacular Maori carvings, followed by optional swimming in the lake. I had the best time! Thank you again Kakariki- I keep recommending you to everyone.

My son fell in love with crew member Bailey...and we also highly enjoyed the Captains humour and the rest of the crews hospitality!

It was a nice and claim day to see the carvings, but a little chilly on the lake. Learn a lot about the carvings and when they where done about 40 years ago. The skipper was great and keep every one on board informed and walked up the front of the yacht to may sure everyone heard what he was saying.

Awesome trip

I went on the summer 7.30pm sunset cruise and it was stunning. It’s a 2 hour trip which includes a glass of wine or beer and you get to swim half way through in the most idyllic spot on the lake when the sun sets. Possibly the most lovely swim you can ever have. Or you can stay on the boat and watch the sunset with drinks. You can also BYO drinks and food and hook your tunes up to the sound system if you want. It’s easy going and the commentary is great. A fab way to spend the evening.

Had a wonderful time out in the lake. Staff were very friendly, the young girl who served the drinks and nibbles deserves an extra star for attentive service with a smile 👍

We had a great trip, all of the staff were friendly, we enjoyed the complimentary muffins, tea/coffee and even got to try some smoked trout. The kids loved that the captain let them have a photo steering the boat. Beautiful views and it opened our eyes to just how large Lake Taupo is!

The cruise was absolutely beautiful! It was a smooth ride and I loved how the carving was explained, it’s nice to know the story behind what you’re seeing. The views in each direction as we were heading to the Maori carving was very nice, just in awe of God’s beautiful creation. So thank you for letting us see more than what was offered. The day was cloudy and a bit cold but the cruise was fun either way. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The mention interesting facts and gave us complimentary snacks (very yummy). We've talked with a young fellow about fishing and he really knew his stuff, we almost caught a fish on the day. We recommend the cruise big time, it was relaxing and fun at the same time. p.s. the boat is clean and comfy too. Also the staff followed all covid measures. 10/10.

Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise.....they explained the history of Lake Taupo and pronounced the Maori names correctly. Very friendly staff and took care of their customers from point of entry onto the boat...during the cruise to leaving the boat. I'm bringing the rest of my whanau back to the cruise. We had a group of 16 that took this trip, it was my bro inlaws 40th birthday and the skipper was kind enough to give him a shout out, den let him drive da boat and alsi gave him a cupcake to blow. Running comentery was hilarious and very informative at the same time. The teens and kids loved the experience and surely recommend 100%

This was such an incredible experience and well worth the money. Our kids loved it and near the caves felt magical. The staff were outstanding. A must-do when visiting Taupo.

Fantastic cruise view spectacular Lake calm and wide Staff excellent very helpful and lots of good information by skipper Māori rock calvingexcellent skipper got close to carving for everyone to get great pictures. Duck feeding off back of boat was fun Ducks flew from afar to take bread out of your hand . They ask put lines down to try for trout which was great Loved this experience

Loved this little trip. The hosts were amazing we all had fun and was just the right amount of time to be out on the water with a child that can get quite restless. We would definitely do this activity again

It was very amazing my boys enjoyed it loved the maori cravings and the yummy as pizza and drinks and the captain was absolutely awesome thanks heaps for an amazing experience something me and the boys will never forget. Thanks heaps I highly recommend
