Awesome service. Thanks
Our second time hiring electric bikes here, had a fantastic afternoon riding out along the coast through Oriental bay and on to The chocolate fish cafe out at Shelly bay.
We got lucky with a beautiful weather. Sailing was mostly smooth. The owner, Tim was friendly and so was his beautiful dog, Shake. I live in Wellington CBD but this is on another level to experience the city. Thank you to Megisti Sailing Charters for providing this affordable, wonderful experience. Highly recommended! ❤️
I had never been on a boat, i have no issue going on a boat again. Beautiful day, staff were friendly, we went over to days bay and straight back just for the boat ride took my younger brother who also hasnt been on a boat. Will be bringing the whole family back in December for another ride. Thanks heaps
We had a awesome day out thank you to your fantastic staff.
A great place to hire bikes. Service was great. Bikes perfect. Shame about the headwind but that was the weathers fault ! Will definitely recommend and revisit.
One of the best flat rides I’ve done. Excellent service excellent views and paths
My sister and I love to bike, and this was no exception. Love the boost from the electric thingy for the wind and hills! Got to see so much on our first day on the windy welly, made it such a special memory to treasure.
The lady well explain how to explorer welly with their lovely e bike … the cafe that she recommended is heavenlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
if u want a chilled cruise and some local facts with an onboard bar this is the crusie for you. very relaxed and shane the dog is a star.
What a difference 30min make for a memorable experience. Love the option for an early bird entry as it allowed us to fully appreciate and immerse ourselves in the exhibit without the crowds. Definitely recommend it!
We did the tour of Gallipoli which is only $3 more than the regular adult entry ! It started at 9.30 which is great to get in before the museum opens at 10! This exhibit was incredible and very moving. We spent 3 hours there and went back the next day as our ticket was a 48 pass.
Our guide Portia was an exceptional guide with in depth knowledge that was shared in a very personal way. A very enriching experience.
This experience is a must do for any Australian visiting New Zealand. It adds another dimension to the ANZAC story and is a truly emotional and unique journey back in time. This was our second visit and I would go back again next time as there are so many stories…respect!!!
This was allot of fun made even better by our host JOE, he was very funny but at the same time very good on the safety and the training side, great fun for the whole of our family we even came back on the Sunday for another go, Only downside was we brought the package which included a drink and a nibble platter each, we actually had to go ask about these as we had almost finished and were told after a bit of searching oh yes you do, but there is a function on upstairs so cant do any snacks we did get give a large bag of chips though
Stunning views, friendly crew, and such a relaxing vibe. Couldn’t recommend it more. Their beloved doggo was also living his best boat life. So good.
One of the best tours any Lord of the Rings fan should take, period! Our tour guide, James, had an unparalleled knowledge of The Lord of the Rings, and it was incredible to see how the trilogy was filmed — right here in Wellington. 10/10 would do the tour again. Highly recommended!
Beautiful trip. Many waterfalls and walls of tears. Took us to the great views. Had time enough to take lots of photos.
Fantastic day for a cruise loved it! Crew were awesome dog was gorgeous
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour - our guide was super knowledgeable and entertaining! The Weta Workshop was a real highlight and something not to be missed!
We are a group of six, and to write this review I asked the 9 year old to provide his valuable feedback. Here is what he has to say “the tour was inspiring, I learned a lot from Grant, the seals and the turbines are the highlights, and they are rarely seen (in fact first time in my life, my mum adds). I also learned a lot about our capital too.”
Traveled alone to Wellington for the first time for only 2 days. Didn’t know how to plan and visit so many places in a short period of time. The tour helped me in travelling all those wonderful places where I wanted to visit in 2 days. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly who knows all the history of Wellington. The lady driver was very sweet to me who gave me ticket to travel for the another day as I invested all my time in searching animals in the zoo? It was a fun trip. Would recommend all if wants to be familiar of the history and famous places of Wellington. My trip to the city would have been more confusing if I had opted for the city bus and taxis. Beyond the tour, I had enough time to explore the city myself. Thanks to all who guided me through Wellington for two days?
Enjoyed the experience very much Son and Grandson (2) continually talking about it.. Staff and pilot very friendly and helpful. Funds allow would do again. Thank you
Absolutely beautiful trip loved it. Very friendly skipper. Have done a trip with Tim before in Abel Tasman about 13: years ago. Highly recommend!
My son absolutely enjoyed his time here and would 100% come back again.
Perfect customer service. My hire was fuss-free and seamless. My bike was ready waiting for me. I just had to hand over photo ID. No forms to fill out. Good to go. :) And the friendly guy on the desk was super helpful. He offered me some sun cream as I'd forgotten mine and made sure I had their number in case I got a flat tyre. Very happy customer :)
Great intro by the trainers and patient with the first timers. Kids loved it. Would come back.
Dave (tour guide) was very friendly, cheerful and attentive towards everyone joining the tour. He also gave lots of information about the movie as well as the town itself! Had lots of fun and learnt a lot at Weta Cave! Will definitely recommend!
I could imagine they shooting the movie in that place, was a really cool experience. Mt Victoria is a plus that even if you don't go to the LOTR tour you should go there. Beautiful view. Weta workshop was amazing not only to LOTR fans but to any enthusiastic of sci-fi movies,
Loved seeing all the filming locations. Our guide was Grant, he was great. Loved the pictures so we could actually see the areas from movie. Lunch was yummy. Best part, all the stories... was great!
Our tour guide was Irish Dave. Awesome guy. Very informative and the photos he had shown everything in perspective. The entire family absolutely enjoyed it. Thanks so much
