Whilst Milford Sound in its own right is a place of majestic beauty and grandiosity, the flight from Queenstown to Milford with True South Flight, was a real gem! So much beauty seen, so much interesting and valuabke information given by our friendly and professional pilote, Kevin (?). More than worth its price!

We had Pete as our pilot in queenstown and and it was such an amazing experience! we felt safe through out the whole experience and it made our honeymoon unforgettable. it's definitely worth the price and a once in a life time experience with beautiful views and sob much fun. we did the 50 minute scenic flight with alpine snow landing and its something we'll remember forever. thanks Pete!

This is my second time flying with the helicopter line and still it exceeded my expectations. From the moment you book it, there will never be problems in terms of communication. Staffs were very accommodating and will assist you with all your needs and concerns. The pilot did a great job overall. It was an informative and a safe flight. The best part was when we landed on the glacier which had an amazing 360 degree view. Kudos to the pilot who can take great pictures! It was wirth every dollar. Will definitely book for a third time next winter.

Due to limited numbers, we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a longer flight. Our pilot was friendly and informative and told us all about the area up in the air. The ride was smooth and he took us over the mountains and right up against the ice from both sides so that everyone could get pictures. It was an amazing experience. Then we landed down in the valley and were given time to walk around and take pictures. Again the pilot was more than happy to take pictures for you. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We schedule was on time. The pilot Blair showed and discussed us the sceneries along our flight, and on our way back we flew to a different route. It was really an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend True South Flight going to Milford Sound rather than long drive. It is one of a kind.

Loved the trip - expensive of course but totally worth it for the time saved and the fantastic views from the plane!! The flight was even better than the cruise! The crew from True South Flights was really friendly and professional. Fully recommend!

Excellent experience. Lovely pilot and lovely staff. We had fantastic weather, so much snow over the mountains, and beautiful blue skies. Saw lots of dolphins and seals on Milford Sound. I would normally not splash out for this kind of thing but I definitely think it’s worth it, as opposed to taking a 5 hour coach trip. The flight made the experience. Would recommend. Try and book for start of your trip so there is time to reschedule in case of inclement weather. The small plane is awesome, 5 people. Worth going from Wanaka too, which is a lovely town to explore. Would be worth staying there a night to explore.

Fantastic tour with a fantastic driver/guide. Stunning scener all the way. It may seem a bit expensive but it's worth it. If you're a LOTR fan, this is probably something you would like. Highly recommend this.

We had a fantastic afternoon on tour with Dan! Loved all the movie sites, scenery & information - not to mention a yummy afternoon tea with a good hot chocolate! We had way too much fun dressing up in costumes & using all the cool props Dan brought along!

I loved every minute of it - even in poor weather conditions, the tour guide made sure we were well looked after and was very accommodating with alternatives on the day. Thank you for the great trip experience. I will be back!

This tour was really informative and there are some awesome breathtaking views along the way to glenorchy, paradise valley. Our driver guide was super amazing and helped us make the most out of the tour! Would recommend to anyone who wants to properly enjoy glenorchy, paradise valley while learning the rich heritage and history around it. Farm experience was good too. 5 star ?

I traveled with a person in a wheelchair and I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The trip itself was an amazing spectacle. 110% worth the money, this has been the highlight of my trip to Queenstown so far.

South Island robin on the Routeburn Track

This is a highlight and this trip simply fantastic! Is is a scenic flight from Queenstown over snowy mountains till the beautiful fjord of Milford Sound! The boat trip over the fjord is almost therapy and sets your mind at ease: very relaxing. All in all an impressive nature experience!

Small group works for us just fine. We had great weather. Sacha was really nice and we had plenty of stops along the way. The buffet was nice, Cruise a little crowded... saw seals and dolphins too!

We were unsure whether to drive to Milford or spend the money to fly & I'm so glad we chose the latter. The welcome & subtle weigh in was great, staff were all very friendly. The only thing needed before take off was possibly a 2nd toilet...took a while to queue for the facilities! The flight itself was amazing. We had a beautiful day for it, sunshine & clear skies. Our pilot, Karl was awesome pointing out the sights during the 40 min flight over the mountains & lakes. If anyone is thinking of doing this then please do...its an experience you wont forget!!

The cruise was a very special experience. We had a lot of rain during our cruise and didn’t see that much of the mountains, but the amount of waterfalls we saw beause of the rain was amazing!! The clouds in combination with the rain and the mist made it a mystic place for us. An unforgettable experience!

Wonderful coach and cruise to Milford Sound. The coach driver was very knowledgeable giving good insights. A smooth drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound. A few things could be improved to have a similar experience to guests- the rooftop glass window doesn't cover all, which is understandable considering other necessities, but could relook at how this can be made better; fantastic lunch but not enough tables especially with non Southern Discoveries booking the table for their clients; and finally just 3 stops for journey which has 15 scenic stops is pretty low. Overall still an enjoyable trip.

The tour was nothing short of AMAZING! Our guide Jeff was spectacular and was very knowledgeable of the area! Milford Sounds is surreal and left my husband and me absolutely speechless! I highly recommend people do this instead of driving themselves. You learn so much about the area and history!!

I went on the cruise on a rainy day, it was surprisingly spectacular water falls along the way and in Milford Sound. Best experience, highly recommended.

We had great weather--not a cloud in the sky--and our guide Tobias was wonderful. We kayaked around 15km over 4 hours and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of Milford Sound. All gear is provided, just make sure to take insect repellent and a bag lunch/snacks.

Bus was comfortable, large, well equipped including good heating/cooling. Driver was knowledgeable, entertaining, helpful and highly competent. Boat was comfortable, had versatile seating and viewing arrangements, & free fish and chips was great. Captain's commentary was informative and altogether bus and boat tour was most enjoyable. Staying in Te Anau rather than Queenstown would involve less travel on the day - Go Orange pick up from there. Hindsight id marvellous isn't it?

Captain of the boat is very observant , sighted penguins in the bushes and we had no chance to do that . We were perplexed with sights , and beauty of Milford. Thank you team

Great experience from start to finish. Bridget kept us up to date after 1st trip was cancelled due to the weather. Andrew picked us up on time and pilot Ewan was great pointing things out during the flight and even warning us when to expect a wee bump or two. Cruise was also brilliant. The captain and crew kept us well informed. We’re worth the cost.

That was the best activity we did here in NZ! We did a cruise in July last year, but it was only 2h. In this overnight cruise, you can experience the sunset, see the stars at night and see the sunrise in the morning. The kayak was super fun also, and the food is just amazing. Everyone of the staff team was great and we had an amazing time, this is certainly a must do for everyone that comes to NZ.

This was a great cruise! So glad we picked this one. Absolutely loved the kayak and swim. Saw the Fiordland crested penguin. Food exceeded our expectations and staff were helpful and friendly. Awesome ship! Well cared for ship and perfect for the purpose. If you can, pick this cruise, great value for money and you won’t regret spending a bit longer than a couple of hours on board.

If weather is clear it will take your breath away. We were lucky enough to experience this cruise during clear & calm weather. Choose your timing wisely because cloud cover or wind will totally change this experience. That said, the drive to the bay was well worth the entire trip alone. The mountains and landscape is beautiful!

From the minute we boarded the bus, this was a day to remember. Our driver Jason (aka Cowboy) made the long journey down to Milford, both interesting and hilarious. The cruise, with Captain Dennis and his friendly crew, was breathtaking. The brilliant calm blue sunny day made it perfect. I would recommend the Go Orange experience to anyone. Couldn't have been better !

From seeing dolphins to seals to penguins, it was just amazing!!! Definitely a breath taking moment!!!

This is very nice experience. But you need to drive a long way to get to the Cruise first. The weather might be a big factor, too. Cheers Enjoy
